Tataco delivered such a great experience. The food was incredibly flavorful and prepared perfectly. My daughter loved her Una Pinche Carne Asada — she talked about it the whole ride home. The elote was delicious, my drink was just right, and the staff was so attentive and genuinely kind. Everything felt thoughtful and well done. I’m already looking forward to going back. -
My sweet cousin took the fam and I here for lunch, and it was such a treat! She knew I was craving Mexican food, and let’s be honest, Angelenos really know their Mexican cuisine. The vibe and atmosphere of TaTaco are beautiful, reminiscent of the popular restaurants in Mexico City, authentic, lively, and inviting.
We started with the Ceviche Mixto, and the chips and salsa were hot, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. For our main dishes, I ordered the lunch-style bowl with pastor, while my partner enjoyed her two hard-shell tacos. My Aunt got the pescado and loved it, my cousin had a delicious-looking gordita, and my uncle went for the taco flight. Every bite was incredible, and we savored each flavor, fresh, vibrant, and truly authentic.
This spot would be perfect to kick off you’re evening with mezcal, great food and a lively atmosphere! -
This place is amazing. The food is great quality and the service good. I got the goat birria ramen. The broth is very flavorful. I wish it has some more fresh elements in it such as shredded cabbage or something to cut the heavy taste of the goat. It was very well done tho. Would definitely go back. -
Believe the hype. Its that good!!! Friendly service. Excellent drinks. Wonderful wonderful food. The chips are served with a bean dip to fight over. My husband and I split the taco sampler. You can pick your protein across six tacos. The dish comes with beans and rice. It was the best beans and rice I've ever had. Tacos were excellent. We were too full to finish all the tacos. We will be back. -
Went because Oscar from top chef is involved in this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Antonio was my server and he was amazing. Had me trying some of the best hot sauces I’ve ever had. The Al pastor tacos blew me away and the drinks/bartender was super great too. Lunch specials are on point. Will definitely be back.
