This was my first visit to the Nasher Museum but it will not be my last. The exhibits were impressive! The art on display was thought provoking and high quality. We also ate lunch at the restaurant in the museum. The food was delicious, nicely presented and there were vegetarian options!

Free entry, lovely cafe. Great space with multiple exhibits of both permanent and traveling works. Worth the stop if you enjoy art museums. Not crowded at all

A nice way to spend an hour or two. Its FREE - no tickets necessary. Check out Sarah P. Duke Gardens in the same visit.

This is a wonderful free art museum near the Duke campus. It took about an hour to peruse the exhibits. There is a small cafe and gift shop located inside as well.

A wonderful surprise in the triangle: three wings of permanent and rotating art exhibits to let your eyes enjoy. It was a great experience for a rainy day.

This museum is small, and I love it. There are so many cool pieces of art that just have to be appreciated. Even the walk from the parking lot is pretty and peaceful. The fact that it's free too is another reason to come over. 10/10 would recommend.

Extremely small but free museum. Went later on a Sunday and it was quiet. Parking is $2 per car per hour. Unfortunately, it's a nice building, but the exhibit is so small it is a brief 30-45 minute stop at most. There was good international art from East Asia and Africa. There was a mix of paintings and sculptors and artifacts in each room. The theme was a bit disorganized, and there wasn't too much detailed information about each exhibit piece.

Fantastic brunch and an amazing cross section of modern and traditional art. So much thought went into these exhibits and it shows. Hidden gem (we had never heard of it) and we were so happy to stumble upon it.

Not only is this museum, gorgeous, but it is also well thought out in very organized. The staff is friendly and welcoming. You will pay to park. I was impressed by how clean and fresh feeling the open space was. I’m truly looking forward to visiting again and seeing more exhibitions. What a gem in the heart of Durham.
