Been here twice with my friends and it’s DEFINITELY a vibee!! Theres two things I dislike 1- it’s a small building it be over crowded with a lot of people. And 2- the drinks are overpriced! It’s a good lit place to go out at on a Saturday night!

AMAZING planning team!! If you’re looking to partner in the Durham area, you won’t be disabled!! I just wanted to come and share my recent partnership experience working with the incredibly Living Room team for Duke Homecoming. Our homecoming committee partnered with the Living Room, specifically Tyra, to make the living room the official after party location of Duke’s Homecoming. For 6 months, we worked closely to organize two main events to bring 400+ Duke current students and alumni for their first ever homecoming experiences catered to the black community. Over those 6 months, I worked most closely with Tyra who provided exceptional guidance on pricing models, thorough documentation and overall recommendations for a cohesive experience design - all of which I seldom see in the nightlife business. As a business owner of a travel planning company myself, I really appreciated how organized, prepared and thorough the planning process was - truly all due to Tyra’s attention to detail and leadership. For several months, we mapped out a vision and scheduled regular check ins for planning updates ; all the while Tyra was always so patient, gracious and available to answer our questions. For any businesses looking to partner, it’s clear that TLR really prioritizes the client; even going above and beyond when Tyra volunteered herself to serve at the door once we realized a staffing oversight on our part! Needless to say, working with TLR staff and Tyra in particular was an INCREDIBLE and seamless experience. Truly a planners dream. Because of her leadership, we 100% plan to make TLR the official after-party destination for Duke Homecoming for years to come. Thank you Tyra and team!

For Durham it’s good but the DJ/music usually sucks unless you’re 35+ yrs old.
