We came for an overnight trip to see the Bulls play! This hotel was perfect and close within walking distance to the stadium. Upon arrival we couldn't check in early at all, even though we were told they weren't busy at all. It was ok though. The room was incredibly clean and worth the wait!! Everything smelled fresh and the rooms were very nice!! We would definitely stay again and recommend. -
Really poor experience for a SpringHill. When we arrived, we were given 2 queen beds, despite having reserved a king suite. We were told our 3rd-party booking service (Citi Travel) had changed it and there was nothing they could do. I contacted Citi and they said that would have been impossible, and they would investigate. They called me back and said they had referred it to their claims dept for further investigation, but no, they did not change it. This was a special weekend for us, and the lack of a king suite kind of ruined it. We only stayed one night, but when we went down for breakfast, the coffee was empty, the eggs were empty, the sausage was empty and there were no utensils. The waffles were ok, but nothing special. There was one man working there, and when he finally refilled the coffee, it was lukewarm. He also never donned a pair of sanitary gloves, or washed his hands, as he transitioned from handling food to emptying the overflowing trash cans (we were paying close attention). McDonald's would have delivered a better breakfast. Oh, and the queen room, while clean, was very dark and you had to use your keycard to turn on lights, which promptly turned off after about 2-3 minutes. Lots of trash in the surrounding area, with homeless visible from our room. $15 to park overnight, plus $2+ in fees. About the only redeeming quality was that it was a short walk to watch the Duham Bulls lose to Nashville. Would Not recommend this location. -
Well maintained considering the cost. A little disappointed thing was there was no fruit added on breakfast and the waffle machine was out of order.
The prep person was working diligently.
Room did not have any sink to prep for some food as a suit (usually we do not use it so it was fine).
Restroom was a little small. But good for the one who studies at night bc there was a good desk in the room. -
This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at! Everything was clean and the housekeepers are very friendly and jovial. My biggest thanks goes to the lady at the front desk. Her name is Nia. It is obvious that she loves her job and loves the guests - she is so kind and compassionate! People like her make me want to come back and stay at that hotel again! -
My family and I had a great experience. We stayed two nights. We were in town to see my son play Cosmic Baseball. It was very clean and smelled so nice. I would recommend this….great for families. The ladies at the front desk were very kind and personable.
