We loved everything about our stay at this hotel! The staff were top-notch, the facilities appear brand-new, and the building was sparkling clean from top to bottom. Excellent breakfast in the morning, too, with plenty of choices for the whole family. Will definitely be back whenever we're in the area again and highly recommend!

I recently stayed here for a one night last minute stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The staff was extremely helpful and provided recommendations for dinner. The room was clean and located on very quiet floor. Parking was easy to find($10 fee for parking). Highly recommend staying here when in Durham.

Stopped overnight on the way home from my son's wedding. I initially chose this spot because I was using my Bonvoy points, but let me tell you...this hotel is so nice it would have been worth it to pay! Brand new (or seems to be), very quiet and very clean. Both the evening and morning front desk staff were lovely. We'll definitely be back - great job!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times since it opened. Excellent layout of the guest room. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Wonderful staff from housekeeping to breakfast hosts, and the front desk.
I had some issues with my first room assignment and Ms. Shauna gave me a new room right away. She is courteous and professional.

Had a great overnight stay. It was clean and we kept. The front desk staff were high-quality especially India and Laquinta who helped me out. Having a hospitable staff made the stay that much more comfortable. Going the extra mile and giving me an extended check out time shows they really value their customers.

The hotel is new and fresh with spacious modern rooms and a great lobby. I loved the bedding and had a great night sleep. I hope the staff and management stays on top of the upkeep as I noticed a few things that are starting to need attention (caulking in the shower, headboard scratches).The AC unit was also quite loud, but it became white noise after awhile. I would definitely stay here again and I’m picky with hotels.

General Manager Ken Hardy is one of the best Marriott has in their fleet of hotels. We stay here for a night every 3 weeks while in Durham, and could not ask for a better place to spend the night. His team of personnel are friendly, and always available to help when needed. If you happen to be in the Durham area I would suggest staying at this Springhill Suites-, it is very new and clean and one of the nicest places possible to stay in downtown Durham. UPDATE --- still the best for your money, great employees, great clean room, great breakfast, we are here every 3 weeks, wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Convenient for our needs. Staff very helpful. Pretty much seamless from A to Z. TV placement was a little weird. I formerly was a FD manager for a hotel and the only problem I had was the FD staff (who otherwise were great) kept asking for my room number out loud in interactions. That was an issue in my day but I am old. Lol.
