JP's Pastry's Durham location serves up certified gluten free and vegan desserts that are certifiably delicious. JP's Pastry owner, Joe Parker, began what eventually became his pastry shop as a quest to make food that included everyone. Now, JP's Pastry's can be found all across the Southeast, in Whole Foods locations, independent stores, coffee shops and, of course, in their Durham store.

Really great certified gluten free food! Everything I’ve tried is above and beyond. -
Great selection of gluten free baked goods (sweet and savory), as well as things like pasta and snacks. Most items are JP's brand and frozen for longer shelf life, but they also have some items at room temp and a few goods from other brands--including loaves from another local GF bakery, Imagine That GF. Fantastic addition to our otherwise severely limited GF options in Durham. -
Easy to find and plenty of parking when I went. There was a good selection of items. The flavors are generally good and I’ll go into a bit of detail later. There are both savory and sweet options.
This is an excellent place for people who need to avoid gluten for medical reasons because of the dedicated GF space.
Regarding the price, GF stuff is just expensive and this is no different than other GF options.
The sweet items are very sweet, but sometimes it’s just nice to have something new. We prefer savory things and generally have been happy with everything savory here.
I will add there are also quite a few vegan choices as well. -
Hands down the best gluten free bakery I have ever been to!!! The cinnamon rolls made my heart legitimately happy. I missed having them. The cinnamon chllad is amazing too! -
There's a lot of Gluten Free Options which is good for people on a diet and some of those are actually really good food instead of crappy things yes the building was kinda lame but overall this place is a recommendation for everyone
