Hillandale is as good as it gets. Approachable for all (both in price and environment), great food at the grill, a challenging course they keep in great shape and some truly wonderful folks who run it all. If you're looking for a place to play, this is it!

I regularly had the pleasure of playing a round at Hillandale, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The hospitality began the moment I walked into the clubhouse, where the staff is always incredibly kind and makes the check-in process feel like a warm welcome rather than just a transaction. That friendly energy continued onto the first tee with a starter who was both professional and genuinely welcoming, setting a perfect tone for the day. Once on the course, I am equally impressed by the ranger’s ability to keep the pace of play moving smoothly without ever making us feel rushed—a rare balance to strike. Of course, the real star of the show was the turf; the greens were in spectacular condition, rolling fast and true on every single hole. It’s clear the maintenance team and the staff take immense pride in this facility, and it made for a truly memorable day of golf.

Do yourself a favor. Grab your clubs and get out to Hillandale golf course. This place was fun, in really good shape and it’s only going to get better. The greens were solid. The fairways and tee boxes were fine. The bunkers were in great shape. This is just a truly fun place to take golfers of all levels. If your a low handicap. It is a great place to practice yardages and hit other clubs off the tees. Or just bomb it down the fairway. If your just starting off it is a fantastic challenge that is fairly open and won’t hurt your too badly if your trying to work on yo game. This is also a very walkable course next time I play I am bring my Sunday golf bag and a handful of clubs just to challenge myself a little more. Just an amazing experience all the way around.

my wife and I visited from nh and had a wonderful time. we met Cody at the desk first thing and was greeted with a warm friendly smile. it was a chilly morning 48 and was nice enough to get coffee brewing for us. the ranger was John and he was extremely nice and was chatting with us and made us feel welcome. the course had experienced rain the night before but there were very few wet spots. the greens were challenging and well kept as was the rest of the course. we enjoyed ourselves and played at a 3.5 hr pace and didn't see many golfers as we moved along. it's a great course and well worth the time and money. thank you John and Corey!

Hillandale is a consistently well-maintained course with a great layout that’s enjoyable for all skill levels. I play there almost every week multiple times a week, and greens are in excellent condition, and the staff is always professional and welcoming. Pace of play is solid, and the overall experience is exactly what you want for a good round of golf. A great local course that I’m always happy to return to.
