This sewing class exceeded all my expectations. From the very first session, Markea created such a welcoming, upbeat, and fun atmosphere that learning never felt intimidating. Markea is amazing! Prior to her class I had had my sewing machine for two years and hadn’t used it once. The youtube videos I saw even with just threading my machine seemed over complicated and very intimidating. Markea helped me to realize how much I’ve been in my head as it pertains to sewing because it was so easy. I left the class with a pillow lol and the confidence to really start my sewing journey. I will definitely sign up for more of her classes and I recommend others do as well.

I had a great time at the trial sewing class. We made cute little pillows and learned how to use a sewing machine. Markea is a great teacher and brought fun upbeat energy to the space. Highly recommend!

I've been working with Markea for over a year. I highly recommend her classes--she's helped me go from a complete beginner to much more advanced sewist! I've taken all the classes she has available and am now onto private lessons. 10/10 recommend her!

Sew Joyful Teaching is the perfect name for this business! Markea's enthusiasm and easy to follow instruction made both the begginer and advance classes fly by. Classes are conveniently located, affordable, and you feel accomplished leaving with all the cute goodies. I love love love how my tote bag came out
