Shopping at Li Ming's is a great experience. It's like visiting Asia. My wife and I go there for the fresh produce; especially mushrooms. Everything is very fresh and the prices are lower than one would expect. Also, if you're looking for a wide variety of fresh fish and Asian products this is the place to go in the triangle area.

Global Market as part of its name truly represents variety of foods it carries. Food course service Chinese dishes comes handy for either eat in or takeout. Nice to have this in Durham.

Li Ming's is a great international market with a focus on Asian cuisine. The variety of fresh vegetables on hand is really remarkable. There is a vast selection of Asian candies and soft drinks, including Ramune it's imitators. There are always many live food options, as well as a full-service butcher shop in the back. The selection of sake is decent and authentic. Several times I have been the only non-Asian person in the store, but I have never felt unwelcome. Pro tip: the lychee jellies are in front of the registers.

The fish is fresh sometimes, the fruits are fresh sometimes. I wish they discounted the perishables overtime like other groceries. You could be paying full price for an almost rotten veggie. The ceiling needs some cleaning too.

Best Asian market around. I can always find everything I'm looking for, and I always find something new to try. The staff is friendly, and the old man the runs the bakery is great. Great prices and tons of variety. Awesome produce section, and every kind of meat you can think of.

Great variety of produce that you can't find anywhere else. Lots of products that give you atypical options. There's a prepared foods section with good, low cost eats that you can take home or eat there. This is one of the, if not the best Asian market in the area.

Such a great ethnic grocery that continued to improve. The fish mongers are great. Amazing selection of everything. I'm very glad that they have diminished their focus on 50% American products and gone to strictly Asian with a tiny Middle Eastern/ Carribean section. Check out the unique goods at the bakery. And bubble tea! The Chinese Cafe is about as authentic as it gets shy of China Town in San Francisco or NYC in the USA.

In general if they have it, it's a good deal. It has many Asian foods from produce to live and frozen seafood kept in back to frozen foods to snacks and dry foods. I love getting my rice here in bulk for sweet price. I also try teas here since Teavana stores closed. The main downside is the language barrier. Most items are in Chinese (some Korean and Japanese) and English translation can be interesting and sometimes plain unhelpful. Like one called 'Vegetable Special' or 'Dinner Spice'. Many employees speak limited English but they try. I highly recommend exploring and knowing what you're looking for looks like in case labels are unclear.
