Great theater 😄 Came here to watch Hamilton and had a lovely time watching it at DPAC. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the theater is very clean with comfy seats. It was also very easy to get merch before the show. We were sat in the orchestra section near the back and still had an easy time watching the show. Thankfully our fellow audience members were all very respectful and excited for the show like us, so we had a great time watching with everyone else. The bathrooms were also very neat, spacious and clean which is a big plus! -
Went to the DPAC last night for the SatchVai concert.
Got free tickets off of VetTix and our seats, at first, were great!! Great view of the stage and could see everything.
Animals As Leaders opened up for them and they were by far the best musicians I've ever seen!! Very impressed by their technicality and musicality.
SatchVai came out and of course thewere great!! However, a woman 3 or 4 rows up from us stood up the entire concert. I feel bad for the young man behind her who asked her politely to please sit down and she was rude to him and refused to sit down.
My son got very upset and almost walked out of the venue.
Want to give a special shout and and a huge Thank You to Cherie. She is the usher who overheard us talking and came to the rescue!! She and the a couple of the rest of the staff were able to accommodate us and move us up to the balcony and we were able to enjoy the rest of the concert.
Miss Cherie, you are an absolute rock star!!!
Would absolutely go back there for a concert!! -
First time ever going to a musical and it was very entertaining. We seen Hamilton and I was very interested in the style and the concept behind it all. I would definitely recommend seeing it and also I will definitely be coming back to see more. -
Went here for the first time with my daughter, driving up from Charlotte to see Tori Amos. What an incredible, memorable night!!! All the staff, from the parking attendants to the vendors to the ushers were kind, helpful and would go out of their way to assist us (like my daughter leaving her sweater up in the balcony). Tori's music is everything, but the kindness of the staff made the trip up completely amazing. Thank you, DPAC!!! -
Broadway excellence with unmatched Southern hospitality! Moving to North Carolina from NYC, the thing I missed most was theater, but DPAC has completely filled that void. It is easily one of my favorite places to be. I just saw Hamilton here this past Sunday, and it was spectacular. The venue itself is a beautiful contradiction—immense and regal, yet somehow quaint and deeply comforting. I absolutely love the classic all-red decor, the comfortable seating, and the fantastic concession and merchandise setups. But what truly makes DPAC special is the staff. The workers pour their hearts into delivering a premium experience outside of the stage, matching the incredible energy of the performers on it. Thank you for always making me feel welcome and keeping the magic of Broadway alive down South. I’ll be a frequent visitor for life!
