Pleased with our two assigned servers who did an amazing job covering 75 guests! Orders were correct and food was well prepared.

With the restaurant businesses closings, the Ale House is still a place to go for a great atmosphere. Recently, after doing one of my restaurant reviews I see they have hired new cooks❤️ but a lot of sauces recipes have changed. TOO MUCH apple cider vinger in the hot honey sauce, but they have also added a new sauce named after the owner🎯💯❤️please try the "Red Pepper Sauce". I guess the head chef decided to revamp some of the menu. The only compliant is wishing they would have more themes to bring in more people, maybe live music some days. The Best locations are Brier Creek & this location if your in this area.

I had Julie as my server! She was amazing. She was the best. She made me and my husbands time there very wonderful. She kept checking back on us. She kept up on our refills and she was very fast and wonderful. We will back to see her.

Jules is an outstanding waitress who takes great pride in her work. Grabbed late dinner and had an awesome waiter named Terry (Lucas)! Very friendly and explain the menu options to us. Most importantly he went out of the way to bring my child syrup for her ice cream! Thank you Terry!!!

We had a great time stopping in and enjoying a great lunch here. Our server, Verna, went above and beyond to take care of us and made us feel so welcomed and looked after. 10/10 would recommend asking for her as your server and for eating here.

We had a decent experience at Carolina Ale House. The restaurant seemed a bit short-staffed, which made things move a little slow overall. That said, our server Ash was excellent — friendly, attentive, and clearly working hard juggling multiple roles. He really made the best of a tough situation. Appreciate his effort and attitude!

My Cobb salad was ENORMOUS with all fresh ingredients. The blue cheese dressing was full of chunky blue cheese. They make all their dressings in house. My buddy had the AMAZING western double smash burger. I felt like he had entered some kind of food challenge when saw it. The food was great. Koodos to the cooks! Our bartender / waitress, Chioma was very polite, made sure we had a drink at all times, and was up for conversation. Every where you look was a flat screen with any sport you're for your fix. If you're in Durham, you gotta come in, grab a bite, a drink, and good conversation. Thanks guys! I will be back.

TVs on sports all day and pool table to enjoy a moment
Cool after work hangout spot to unwind with friends or alone.
I ordered honey hot sauce wings, I had honey wings. Next time I'll just get diff, not a fan of honey wings.
Waitress was funny and amazing. Felt I was hanging out with the homegirl, she definitely made us feel home for a first time visit

Was craving some standard American food, but at a quality higher than the nation chains. Can always count on the Carolina Ale House for that kind of thing! We always like to sit at the bar and Sway was taking care of us this time. She was handling drinks for the entire restaurant on her own but never left us feeling unattended.
Pretzel sticks were great and so was the queso. They have good quality chicken and we LOVE the battered fries. We overspent and brought a bunch of food home so if you're better at portioning yourself you'll spend less than we did. If you want some standard American food with good drinks come here!

We had Lee as our waiter & he was truly so incredible. I rarely fill out these surveys but he was so attentive and never let our drinks reach the bottom. He was so kind to congratulate us on our new baby and told us all about how fun it is to be parents. Thank you for the best service, Lee!

Sway is the most amazing server! She remembers drinks and preferred dishes of a dozen friends months at a time. She’s the reason we come to your restaurant.
I wish there were gluten free options on the menu. It’s difficult to find something to eat.

I work in different (NC) towns each weekday and will go to different Carolina Ale House locations. By far, hands down, Durham is where I’ve consistently had good dining experiences. My server (Heather) is amazing! She remembers detailed likes/dislikes, is always professional and attentive, making my dining experience very pleasant. It is important to note that Heather appears to be this way with a lot of her customers.
