Diane started Bowerbird Flowers and Apothecary with a passion for flowers and floral arranging. Over nearly a decade, she has seen the business grow from a small Chapel Hill studio to a beautiful UHill shop and botanical bar filled with flowers and arrangements, locally-made and thoughtfully curated gifts, cards, and an apothecary featuring skincare, teas, candles and more. But Bowerbird is much more than a retail shop: their in-demand floral services keep them busy designing decor for weddings and events year-round and supporting local flower farms while they're at it.

I had 3 weeks to find flowers for my elopement ceremony and Bowerbird DELIVERED. After one phone call, they understood my vision and was transparent with cost which was very reasonable. I would choose Bowerbird again and again. Everything from flower arrangement, communication, and customer service was 100000/10. Everyone at my ceremony loved the flowers and asked where I got them which is the biggest compliment. Do not hesitate to use Bowerbird for any event or celebration you have.

Bowerbird was an absolute dream to work with for our recent wedding!! From the pre-wedding planning process to day-of, they were just incredible to work with - responsive, thoughtful, and kind - truly everything you could ask for and more!! They were somehow able to bring my vague ideas to life in the most spectacular way. I knew it would be beautiful, but I was absolutely blown away when I saw everything come together the day-of. I have had countless guests ask me who did the flowers because of how beautiful they were. They have an eye for designed that is unmatched and truly unique, and I am beyond grateful to have worked with them!!!!! Would recommend Bowerbird and Diane 1000x over and give them 1000/5 stars if it was possible!!

I will be recommending Diane and her team for the rest of my life!!! It genuinely brings us to tears thinking about the florals at our wedding. I asked for a more petite bouquet with some pops of color for my sunset themed wedding and they truly made me the happiest bride alive! Everything was perfect. I cried so many happy tears! I was lucky enough to have Bowerbird Flowers provide the floral arrangements for our wedding, and I cannot say enough good things about them! Diane really took the time to understand my vision and provided excellent recommendations, and I was ultimately floored by how it all came together! Diane and the team at Bowerbird are truly amazing at what they do, and I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with them for our wedding this month. All the florals, from the arbor to the table arrangements to the bouquets, were absolutely exquisite. I initially struggled to articulate my vision and wanted seemingly contradictory styles, but Diane was somehow able to decipher my confusion and bring the design to life more beautifully than I could have imagined. Our guests gave nonstop compliments all evening about how stunning the flowers looked.
