Merle Norman Cosmetics in Durham, NC is an absolute gem. Nancy Brown (owner) and her “Merle girls” (staff) have been fantastic over the years, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and true professionalism. The store offers a unique and eclectic selection of products—many of which you’d never expect to find in a cosmetic store. Every visit is a great experience, and I always feel well taken care of. I highly recommend this owner and this make up store to anyone. If you want to look and feel beautiful, just go see the girls at Merle Norman in Durham NC.

As a person who never wore makeup or washed her face I have become a believer. Nancy took the time to show me how to apply makeup, what colors work best, and a skin care routine. After just two months people have been commenting on how great my skin looks and how put together I am. I look forward to washing my face and putting on makeup every day.
Nancy also pierced my daughter’s ears and they look wonderful. She was great with her allowed us to cry/put on make up/and color. We signed my daughter up for dance and I will have Nancy and girls show us how to apply makeup for her. I am a firm believer in shopping small business and this store has a little bit of everything!

We love Merle Norman and Nancy! She takes care of makeup for all the dancers at my studio complete with lessons on how to apply and take best care of their skin. She pierced my ears back in 1999 and since then has pierced both my daughters’ ears and done second holes for myself and my teenager. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Merle Norman products are amazing! 🩷 I started wearing their foundation over 17 years ago because I had super sensitive skin, and I had problems with every other brand out there. I slowly got into skincare, as my budget allowed, and I eventually tried their mascaras, eye shadow sticks, cheek crayons,... now I wear ALL of it AND I NO LONGER have sensitive skin!! I didn't realize it was the nasty products from Walmart and Ulta that were the culprits making my skin sensitive! Nancy is amazing and has DECADES of experience! She's incredibly helpful and always so sweet! It's been an absolute joy getting to know her! I HIGHLY recommend this place! Please step out of your comfort zone and try something new at MN today! You may not love the first item you pick and that's ok! I bought and returned FOUR skincare lines my first year before I found that Skintelligent worked the best for me. MN has a very supportive return policy. They want you to be happy and LOVE your products! ☺️ I am almost 40 and I get told on a regular basis that I still look late 20s or early 30s!! It will change your life if you give them a chance! 👍👍
