The best open flame inside grill I've had coming from a restaurant. I got the cilantro chicken mixed vegetables and white rice my first time on a Thursday. And the second time on a Sunday I got double meat of the cilantro chicken with the green rice and potatoes. The chicken was juicy and not dry, I kept my extra chicken and rice I got and warm it up Monday, taste just like I just placed my order the chicken was still tender and juicy after I warmed it up. It's 1 hour and 35 minutes from Fayetteville, I will make that drive anytime for that chicken. Staff was nice and you can see them making your food.

One of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The anticuchos are absolutely heavenly. The maduros and the mollejitas were cooked just right and the atmosphere is incredible! Que viva Perú🇵🇪

The food was great!
My wife and I don’t eat much, so we shared a quarter dark chicken meal with two sides: green beans and red potatoes ($14). The portion may typically good for one person.
We also ordered a seafood soup, which came with rice ($24).
The green beans were excellent — flavorful, tender but not mushy. Good enough to satisfy a food-loving Chinese customer!
The chicken was also excellent — the skin was slightly crisp, the meat tender but not dry, and the flavor rich without being heavy.
The red potatoes were just okay — not bad, but nothing special.
The seafood soup was very good: slightly spicy, with plenty of real seafood. Nothing to criticize there. And the white rice was excellent!
It seems that, in addition to affordable meals like chicken, the restaurant also serves higher-end specialty dishes, such as chewers and seafood soup. There’s definitely more for us to explore next time.

Update: We tried new items. This week we had a burger which was fresh and delicious! We got steak quesadillas, chicken gyro, deboned chicken and red potatoes. We loved everything. The only thing that was not my favorite was the potatoes. They were ok but just needed to be cooked a tad bit longer. Either still one of our favorite restaurants. We go there At least once a week.
My family loves Canastas! Everything is delicious! Chicken, shrimp, steak, gyros, salads. Fresh, well seasoned and fast service. Staff was friendly and you get large portions. We highly recommend and will be back!

First time here. This place is great, especially the lunch special. For the price, you really can't beat it. Totally worth every penny and so delicious. I'll definitely be back for more soon. Highly recommend checking it out!

My family loves Canastas! Everything is delicious! Chicken, shrimp, steak, gyros, salads. Fresh, well seasoned and fast service. Staff was friendly and you get large portions. We highly recommend and will be back!

Authentic Peruvian food at Canastas. We had a blast enjoying the arroz chaufa and empanadas. Portions are big and the seasoning is out of this world. Everything is amazing at this place. Go and treat yourself. Highly RECOMMEND!

Food is amazing I drive over an hr from zebulon just to eat here. This by far blows alpaca out the map chicken isn't bloody like alpaca and mami noras food amount is perfect for the price. We try to go at least once a week. Can't wait till the one in wake forest opens.
