What a great find! Came for an early dinner on graduation weekend. Staff were all attentive and friendly. Food was all amazing, albeit was served rather quickly, so we felt a little rushed. Maybe it was because we had an early seating. It was fine for us because we had a hungry group, but would def like to revisit and enjoy each course with more savor next time. Check out this hidden gem next time you’re in Durham! -
Quaint little place. Busy, lots of what seemed like regulars. I liked the food but wasn’t blown away. Server was good but didn’t seem overly interested. But still good service overall. The food came out quickly, was hot and fresh. I got fried oysters. They were superb. My wife got dolma and her review was they were just ok. I feel like it was a little pricey but I would recommend if you like Mediterranean food. -
Fresh and flavorful. Good service. Slightly older restaurant with wear and tear but still pleasant atmosphere. It's a mix of families, couples, and during the day business lunches. -
Working in town for the week and this place was across the street from my hotel. Stopped in for dinner and the food was great! I had the mussels and the lamb sirloin! Mussels were delicious and the lamb was cooked to the perfection! Both dishes were delicious! It was nice an quiet and service was good! Definitely a good place if you want a delicious meal! -
As a visitor to the Durham area, I absolutely loved this place. The lamb loin(?) was fan-freaking-tastic! Well seasoned and cooked exactly as I wanted it. The orzo and broccolini were also a good pairing - especially since I've never had any of what I ate. My only critique is the mussels appetizer. It was tasty. But for the price, I expected them to be meatier.
