I was greeted right away and she was very friendly. I ordered a baked potato, drinks and a kids meal. The french fries were over cooked. But the worst was the potato. It was the smallest potato and dried up. Unfortunately I was already on the road and couldn't go in to complain. The photo is a child's finger to show how small the potato was. -
Edit:
Well I’m editing my 4 start review. I’ve since had a horrific experience. I ordered my usual meal but this time I was charged 3 dollars for a cup of water without realizing it. While still in line, I asked for the water to be removed and the girl with the tattoo on her face said no refunds but she was very rude about it. I continued to ask for the refund (which I shouldn’t have because I got nowhere and it escalated further than it should have).
She told me to call the district manager but would not provide the number. The older lady with the accent came to window playing around offering a refund and then changing her mind. She obviously just wanted drama. I didn’t expect that from her especially as an older woman. The young boys in the back were just laughing.
Girl with the heart tattoo on her face began to yell at me and call me a bunch of names just for kindly asking for the water to be removed. I was very kind and respectful throughout this whole encounter. I was confused because I order the same meal every night and have never been charged for water.
Another customer came to the window, got her food and threw the drink at my car for “holding up the line” then she sped off. Tattoo girl got even more upset, to my satisfaction, because she was hanging out the window throwing insults. A few mins later the police arrived and asked me what happened. I was still at the window while the tall boy and girl with the heart tattoo were just laughing and still calling me “ignorant” while mad because she got hit with an organize soda. Funny people like that wanted to call someone ignorant smh, among other names. Anyways the police went in and got my food since they held onto it until the police got there.
The police told me that the employees wanted me charged with trespassing. What a joke. He advised me to just leave it alone and he said he would never come back to this Wendy’s if he were me (after seeing how they acted especially while he was standing there). We both agreed that I shouldn’t return.
I contacted corporate. A lady named Rosalyn Stevenson reached out by email and told me to call her (for what reason..idk). I had already pretty much explained everything in the email to corporate. I called and was told I had the wrong number smh. I emailed her back and she apologized for providing the wrong number. Smh. She provided another number. I called and left a vm. A week later, no response. Sent an email..no response. Again, a bunch of games. How are these types of people in leadership?? Baffled. This whole place is a mess/joke and the so-called district manager is as well. I definitely will not return with people being allowed to act like this and with district manager approving it obviously. Why tell me to call if you weren’t even going to provide the correct number or offer any sort of apology for how I was treated at your business?? Very weird.
Old review: This Wendy’s has really improved lately. The food was good and the light skin African American male at the window today around 7pm was really kind. The restaurant also looked very clean. Much cleaner than before. Came multiple times months/years ago and I had to change to another location but this location has since improved. -
Delicious salad served with a smile. The employees and some friends made it a light-hearted stop on our way back to the hotel. Everyone we've dealt with in the Raleigh area has been so nice and helpful. -
So, this Wendy's has been a bit mixed for me for a while. Sometimes the fries are hot and crispy, sometimes they're limp and tasteless. The main gripe I have right now is that for *some* reason, they've decided that you don't get a sauce with your combo anymore. They want 50 cents extra for it, yet another business trying to nickle and dime you for every single interaction. They've raised the prices of their combos continuously over the last couple years as well, so don't even get me started on that.
Seriously. Have the decency to give us a sauce as part of our combo -
I ordered my food half an hour ago through the app, but when I arrived, they couldn’t find my order in the system even though I had already paid.
However, the staff were very kind and nice, and they helped me solve the issue.
Thank you so much!
