Great selection, especially for the size of the store. I love the sweet potato noodles and summer roll wrappers. Produce has always been fresh when I purchased it. -
This market is a treasure trove! It's right next to a Korean BBQ place and is very well stocked. It has fresh veggies, ranging from enoki mushrooms to perilla leaves. It is a Korean grocery store, but like many Asian grocery stores, has a little bit of everything from popular Asian cuisines. There is a decent selection of frozen meat (think thin slices of pork and beef.) It is a quintessential Korean grocery store and its best kept secret is the incredibly sweet and welcoming staff. As a non-Korean, I deeply appreciate the staff for being so kind and sincerely helpful. Absolutely recommend this market for those in the area. Prices are comparable to larger markets like Li Ming or Grand Asia. You won't be disappointed. -
I have been going to this supermarket since it first opened and have been continuing to drive the 20 minutes to get there even though I've moved out to Apex. It is small but it has a very good variety of groceries and a good selection of fresh produce. The owners are also very nice and helpful. Though there are bigger "grander" Asian markets around Cary, they tend to be dirtier and smellier because of the seafood sections. Love this place and will be my stand-by even if I do try other places for more convenience. -
My favorite local Asian grocery store. It has an excellent selection of groceries, tea, produce, and housewares. Their house made kimchi is excellent. The staff are friendly, and can help you find what you're looking for. -
This place is great and the guy who was working there was super nice and helpful. I wanted to make Dakgalbi for my husband's birthday yesterday, and at first I went to Asia Market since I had been there once before. I only really found 1 thing that I needed out of 6. Luckily I made the drive to Shilla and found everything there! They even had the ice cream my husband fell in love with when we were in Korea. It's a bit of a drive from where we live, but I'll definitely be shopping there from now on!
