Our room was very clean. It lacked any amenities like lotion. You only had one soap dish in one bathroom the other had none. The coffee in the room was horrible. When we arrived the person at the desk could barely speak or look up. So rude. Anytime we asked a questions she seemed bothered. We saw her the next morning by the breakfast area and she was just as rude to many others. The coffee was hot in the morning but any other time of the day or evening it was cold as if it wasn’t emptied since the morning breakfast. When shifts changed the people were welcoming. Disappointed that you didn’t even have a cooler of water in the lobby. Your restrooms in the lobby were trashed and not working and when we mentioned it when we were leaving the girl at the desk didn’t say a word. You need serious training on how to welcome and acknowledge guests.

The rooms were great with plenty of room, but the hot tub was broken, and that's part of why I chose this hotel. On the 3rd day, no one had still cleaned my room. I went to the front desk & they asked if I had requested cleaning. I was never told when I checked in that it had to be specifically requested, so I said yes, I want my room cleaned. She said it would be the next day. We were out of toilet paper & needed dry towels. They wouldn't even send someone up to our room with supplies. I had to go get them myself. By 4pm the next day, it still had not been cleaned yet. I asked why & they said I wasn't on the list. I was quite upset about this since I had made it very clear I wanted my room cleaned. Food at the breakfast bar was average.

Nice hotel. Good location. Clean room. All the boxes checked. But, front desk clerk at check-in, while not "rude" was certainly not friendly. After a long day of travel it would have been nice to be welcomed. Whirlpool was out of commission. Again, it would have been nice to have a hot soak after a long day of travel.

A bit worn. The location of this SpringHill is actually pretty convenient for most use cases if you have a car. But there's lots of minor issues with the facilities. Buttons not working, a bit of an odd smell in certain parts, the underwhelming gym. But not all bad, generally service was friendly and requests were promptly filled. Breakfast was fine and met expectations. Beware of geese droppings during summer and early fall.

The room we stayed in was a little smelly and we didn't get house keeping our entire 4 night stay. Disappointed that the jacuzzi didn't work. The breakfast was good and hot. The entire staff was so very friendly and I felt very safe. Hope to visit again.

We've been staying at this location several times over the last few weeks. It's easy to find and there is plenty of parking. It's located close enough to just about everything you could possibly need yet you don't feel you're in a big city, some are within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is professional and helpful. They don't have coffee available all day like some places. The breakfast is OK.

We stay here periodically for UNC dr visits about twice a year for 3 years now. It's easy to get to nearby restaurants and shops. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Rooms/common areas are clean and free breakfast is included. Family and business traveler friendly. Highly recommended.

The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. For a family of 5, it was very useful having a separate space for the toilet and the shower. And having 2 sinks for bedtime and mornings was very handy too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I gave a rating of 3 stars because there was a lot of broken things in the shared spaces. The elevator buttons were broken. There was only one working treadmill in the exercise room-- the broken one didn't even have a sign on it noting it was out of order. The internet on the TV in our room would randomly cut off, and the TV would go blank. The lack of attention to the small details felt so off for the Marriott standard. I chose this location because there were so many good reviews, so maybe my stay just occurred during a weird time.

This hotel provides convenient access to Duke, UNC, RDU and other popular places around the Triangle. It's towne centre-like location puts it within walking distance to Duke Health and a number of well-known retailers and restaurants. A special shout-out to Wilmur at the front desk for providing 1st class customer service!! The modern lobby was clean and inviting. Loved the split bathroom layout in our suite. The suite unfortunately had a "musty" smell that somewhat improved after requesting our '3-day stay freshen up'. The staff struggled to set up (maintain) the hot breakfast buffet on time; however the food was tasty. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area! Tip: Parking is shared w/ the other businesses during core hours, so note the posted signs. Daily RV/trailer parking is available in the East end parking area (towards Home Depot).

Best room ever can’t complain ! Sucks breakfast is over so early possibly they could extend. I also didn’t like the homeless sleeping outside in tents.
