Let me "Gossip" a little bit about Gossip Tea Lounge Durham NC. 🤭
We stop for a visit on the way home from Asheville. I have to say it's the cutest, most unique tea lounge I've ever seen. You could tell they put a lot of effort into this business. From beautiful decoration to comfort to coziness to cleanliness to fresh ingredients, and making sure all the food and drinks are delicious, they got it 100%!!! We were well fed before getting back on the road.
Two days later...
I ordered too many drinks so had to keep a boba tea in the fridge for 2 days. Did you know, the tapioca bobas were still soft and chewy when I drank the tea 2 days later? Amazing! Bravo, Chef!!!

What a nice surprise for my wife to have discovered this place. We both spent time in Taiwan a year ago with our son who is there. And we had a fabulous time, we also had a great time eating and drinking at Taiwanese and Vietnamese cafes, tea/boba coffee shops…and this one has that modern flair-invite. The menu is plentiful yet not overwhelming. I had the Bao Bun (braise pork), it was very good & and both of our drinks were very good (me: Lemon-Lime Tea, wife: Iced Vietnamese Coffee (sorry I forgot to ask if the brew was native…would be cool if it just happened to be, because Vietnamese coffee is very good). So our experience on our Sunday morning outing was very nice. Pricing was appropriate, to us…plus this is an independent business, and which we appreciate. 👍🏾

I visited for my birthday yesterday: I had the strawberry milk tea (add boba), the popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and the pork bao buns—of course some of it to save for later. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were enormous. Every ingredient—down to the pickled carrots on the bao buns—was individually delicious. Kim, one of the owners is very sweet and friendly, and I truly enjoyed spending my birthday here

Super excited to have stumbled upon this place while out on an errand run today! They are right across from New Hope Commons making it super convenient to grab a bite or a drink after stopping by Walmart or DSG in the area. Grateful they chose to set up shop here and save me a trip to Cary for Asian food (looking at you, Hmart). The atmosphere beautiful and modern and could easily replace Starbucks for a place to meet up or catch up on work.
Highly recommend their bao and fried tofu! The bao were super flavorful but not greasy because of the cilantro, cucumber and carrots 💕
Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious but also definitely not for those new to coffee because it’s strong and the bitterness might throw some off. I got mine with matcha and I could really taste the freshness of the matcha which was super refreshing.
The owners and staff are also super friendly and kind. My order was delayed because of a technical issue but the owners went above and beyond once I let them know. Please try the mochi too (especially the black sesame mochi)! You will not be disappointed!

The vibe was amazing . Love the drinks and smoothies all the way. I think they have the best popcorn chicken I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is really clean and I’m very satisfied with everything!!
