My son just finished up a week at Piedmont wildlife and I have to say they did an incredible job! My son is 6 year old, homeschooled and not used to being out of the house all day long so I was hesitant about sending him, but he is already asking to go back! He has not been able to stop talking about his time there and all that they did, I just wanted to give a big thank you and recommend them highly to anyone who is considering their child! Though it’s pretty far from where we live, the experience was so positive I think this will be an every year thing for us!

My child enjoyed her Otter 1 week-long wilderness adventure camp. She loved the mountain trails, sleeping outdoors, fire-building, cooking and spending time with other kids. All the challenges made it more memorable.

We invited Pumpkin, Apollo, and Sheldon into our office to celebrate all of the work our team has been doing over the past few months. Needless to say, this was a wonderful way for us to take a break and learn about some cool critters in our own backyard. Noelle was amazing in coordinating logistics and Lauren was so knowledgeable!

We had a wonderful 5 year old birthday party at Piedmont Wildlife Center! My wildlife/nature loving child was in heaven. Our instructor was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals, and adapted the animal presentation to our small group so that we all got to see the animals up close, then suggested fun things to do after, such as visiting the enclosures for all the additional animals. Highly recommend and anticipate being back frequently this summer!

We really enjoy the hiking loops. If it recently rained, wear appropriate footwear. The sounds of the peepers and birds, and occasional deer sightings help heal your soul.

I highly recommend Piedmont Wildlife Center. Our students had a wonderful experience interacting with the different animals and listened to the explanations provided by Ms. Noelle. From our Toddlers to our Children House students, all the children had an unforgettable moment.
