Had a training session at UNC and was looking for a nice place for my husband and I to eat.. OMG!! This food is terrific.. The service was awesome and the atmosphere was great..

Busy restaurant. Waited for about 5-10minutes to find a seat for me. Ordered salad for dinning-in, steak sandwich, a full piece of tiramisu and 2 cups of coffee for to-go, gave me just one fork, had to ask for two. Bring a broken carrier for my coffee. Tiramisu is so so. Sandwich tastes great.when checked out, no coffee. Had to ask again.

Solid spot near durham for seafood and salmon. The steaks are solid but this is def a seafood forward spot. I recomend the blackened salmon salad. Very excellent. I did also try the vegetarian Chilli and it was just okay. They do hav3 a coktail menu, so I'll be back next time to try it. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was prepared quickly and accurately. There are no purse hooks at the bar but the restrooms are very clean. The plating is not really amazing or over the top in any way. However the dishes are delicious and they may have the best cake in the city. So I would 💯 percent recomemd this spot especially to locals it had that maggianos I could eat Herr every other day vibe. A great spot for lunch for everyone in the area. There are options for literally everyone.

We stopped in for an early lunch before heading to the airport today and I’m so glad we did! Wow, the grilled salmon was perfectly prepared (I am a bit of a salmon snob) and my daughter had the seafood pasta also deliciously spicy. The only thing I would change was the lobster was cooked in the shell therefore almost impossible to get out. She did take it home and is having it for dinner tonight!
Our server was great, he gave us time but checked in so we knew he didn’t forget us. It was a great day to sit outside, not to hot yet and really lovely patio.

Very nice place great food and reasonable prices! We had the ribeye steak, lobster tails, risotto with spinach and fried calamari everything was delicious and had minimum wait around 15min. Weekends it is a little crowded…it has a beautiful outdoor space and the cake options are amazing!

Came here and got the Tuna sandwich. Was not good enough in taste wise. The much famous strawberry shortcake was delicious and soft. Overall nice sit in place to eat. Expect to spend around $20 a petson minimum.
Only con is parking spaces are too narrow to park in. You will have to wait for the other person to come and reverse his car so that you can get in.

A very nice restaurant with great food. We enjoyed shrimp and scallops, a cod sandwich and a Reuben. All generous portions and very good. Sides were baked potatoes, fries and spinach. All delicious. Our server was attentive and very nice. We rounded out the evening with a slice of coconut cream cake that was the size of a dinner plate!! Great place. Nice, cozy atmosphere.

We have enjoyed Nantucket Grill for years, but we had never been to the location near Chapel Hill. It was very easy to find the location and there was plenty of parking. The signature cakes were right at the front door and we immediately picked out our favorites as we waited to be seated.
We shared the crab dip appetizer among the three of us and had a bit left over. It was hot, cheesy, and delicious. I wanted a steak but knew I could not eat that much for lunch. Instead I ordered the rib eye sandwich with a smaller portion size. I like steak cooked rare and knowing that this was hard to do with the thinly sliced portion I was prepared to be dissatisfied. I should not have been concerned. The steak was well prepared, flavorful and tender. I did ask for the cheese topping to be changed to provolone rather than American cheese. It gave me a delicious lunch steak (that I still couldn't finish).
The cake was wonderful and I took home a good sized portion to enjoy tonight.

Left me a bit aggravated that they don’t have whole body clams. I heard they haven’t had them for 2 years. Clam chowder was very good. Probably canned since they don’t have clams.
However, we got half slices of Triple Chocolate Cake and Lemon Cake. Both were very good.

Our server Spencer was excellent... Portions and selection was good. Food was ok... It's bar food IMHO... We had the steak burger, shrimp Po boy, and ribeye sandwich. All were good but nothing great. This place seems like a bar but maybe it wants to be a restaurant... 😁.. or a restaurant that wants to be a bar. The cakes looked good but we didn't try them. Prices were reasonable and I'm sure just about anyone could find something they liked on the menu.
