I want to start by saying Lisa, the Manager, was the most lovely person I’ve ever met! We chatted while I was in the store & she was so welcoming while I was in there.
As for the store, this store was so thoughtfully organized. I LOVED that everything was organized by color it was so satisfying!! I loved the variety of brands they had, when I checked out their page online I said I HAVE to go in person. I was also able to find these Penco Clampys that have been sold out EVERYWHERE & online!! I can’t believe they had a huge bin of them!! -
So many great options here! My goal for the new year is to start journaling, and I picked up a great journal with some helpful prompts! There are also plenty of line, grid, and dot notebooks of all sizes, as well as pens, pencils, markers, sketchpads, calendars, planners, to do lists….. I could go on, the selection here is amazing considering the size of the space. A little pricier than I would typically go for, but they had exactly what I was looking for and I love supporting local :) -
A very cute store with many fun and unique items. I LOVED the selection of colored pencils, highlighters and fine tip markers. A wonderfully curated store. -
Parker Paper is simply the best! Wonderful selection of notebooks, writing utensils, art supplies. Great for getting inspiration and getting the just right thing. Love how friendly and helpful the staff always is! -
Love this little store and we need more stores like this due to all the niches and interests in stationary as a whole. As a start, this store is cute, small, and next door to Press which makes a great morning with the wife or a date where you can get breakfast and go shop for a journal and pens.
On a more serious note, Penco is a great brand and I love to see it here. I'd like to see more Japanese brands like general Zebra and Pentel and the more "interesting" mech pencils that offer novel features like the Orenz from Pentel with Automatic Lead Advancement.
Or other interesting goods like the Kiwami Writing Mat from Kyoei Plastic would be a fun thing to offer. Lastly, I saw a lack of rOtring :(
As I'm focusing on pens, I'll add that more G2 and other refills would be fantastic. Options, options, options so that I can try out different and new refills for my pens I've bought would be 100%%%%
One final note, I was sad to see a lack of general purpose notebooks. I don't like journals all the time and some times a good notebook for work or free form journaling and hobby note taking is what's needed. I did find a "Soft Ring 80" notebook which was perfect with it's graph paper, but I can't say I was lost with options.
