There’s been an influx of new openings at American Tobacco Campus (ATC), including the highly anticipated addition of QueenBurger, owned by the folks behind Kingfisher Bar and Queeny’s on E. Chapel Hill St. QueenBurger’s menu is simple, and so are the ingredients, and that’s exactly what makes these smash burgers shine: farm-raised, grass-fed beef with local cheese, house-made pickles, and special sauce. For vegetarians, their smashed beet burger is a must. And who could resist those shoestring fries with the perfect amount of seasoning?

Excellent service. Everyone from the person who took our order to the person who brought our food to the table were super nice and everyone here has a huge smile on their faces. The burgers were on point! Juicy and full of flavor!!! Love the shoestring fries! The spicy ones definitely have a kick to them!!! And for dessert, the key lime pie ice cream sandwich was a winner!!!

Fast. Affordable. Friendly. Great place and location was walkable to DPAC, American Tobacco, and nearby Bulls stadium attractions. Great burgers, fries and draft beers.

Great food and good service. Their special sauce, my wife loved it, but my son and me thought it was just ok, the burger itself was delicious! Got large fries and it was enough for like 3 people lol

Really great food! We were craving burgers and these classic smash burgers really hit the spot. Cheesy, saucy, really well cooked, served alongside crispy shoestring fries. Can’t get much better.

They were busy but very efficient with getting the orders out. Limited menu but that is ok. Definitely going back, maybe try a double cheeseburger or that Philly. Also get the Cajun fries with less seasoning. Place stays busy and gets you in and out quick.

I love QB so so so so much. I first tried them back in 2020 during their pop-up days and instantly fell in love with their incredible smashburgers. My go-to order is the classic burger and a side of the sea salt fries with a side of their zesty ranch. The restaurant itself is very cute and has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend checking out when you are in downtown Durham!

It is a good burger. They get bonus points for supporting local businesses, i.e. local beef, local, ice cream, sandwiches, etc. I could see order in a single being too small for most people besides, kids for adults definitely go for the double. I realize hamburgers are highly personal but my pet peeve is when you ask for a bacon cheeseburger. I want the bacon to play an active role, from the looks of it. It was one piece of bacon cut to fourths I hardly knew it was there.
