I've been here a number if times and always enjoy. They invite questions about the menu and are conscientious in preparations for allergens and dietary preferences. I recommend to eat-in because food is so well-presented, hot, and fresh. The uncommon quality is worth navigating the uncommon hours.

We took out kids here to try ramen and we all loved it. Very flavorful dishes. The staff were so kind and helpful. The vibe is laid back with fun decor and very clean. We will definitely be back!

Really great little spot. Went here late one night when we were staying at a hotel and didn’t know what to grab for food. Server was super nice and helpful w suggestions. Thai tea, my stir fry dish, and my dad’s ramen were all delicious! Nobody complained about us being there when it was near closing time either. Chill & easy as well.

Hands down, one of the best drunken noodles I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE. They cook each of the noodles perfectly. No clumpy, dried globs of noodles. Everything is tossed evenly in the sauce. I like mine between hot and Thai hot. The veggies are still crisp. The perfect contrast with the noodles. Their gyoza dumplings are so deliciously crunchy, with the ponzu? Omg, I could eat 30. Their pad Thai is slightly on the sweet side, but I get extra lime wedges on the side, plus the spice, it balances out perfect. I think they serve some of the quickest, tastiest noodles in Durham. So worth it!

Really cool concept with exceptional customer service, and I can see the potential, but there’s definitely a good amount of room for improvement. They have tons of options and are very accommodating to everyone’s dietary needs. The broth was really rich and flavorful with layers of spices too! But our dishes did have pretty severely undercooked noodles and several slivers of ginger that really threw off the texture compared to everything else. I love al-dente noodles but these were pretty much hard with no bounce, and the ginger slivers were very tough with sharp edges :( Not sure why they’re prepped like that. My only other complaint would be that the meat was cooked to the point of actually being tough. I guess they cook the meat first, then put it in hot broth? All in all it’s a good spot and I’ll check it out again, but I’ll have to make certain adjustments while placing my next order.

My siblings and I love noodle dishes and a good atmosphere. That's just what we got at Noodle 501! We were so excited to see this place pop up when we were searching for ramen, so we decided to give it a try. We were definitely impressed. We had two different ramen dishes, glass noodles, crab rangoons, and Thai tea - all of which were delicious. One of the owners was serving, and they were extremely helpful in helping us decide what dishes would best suit our taste and answered all questions with kindness. I personally love the fact you can add most anything to your dish and choose different spice levels. I enjoy spice, so I went for a level three. It was the perfect amount of spice without overpowering the flavor of the dish. We also really liked the artwork which made the environment fun, and a nice place to relax and enjoy each other's company. We will definitely be returning for more! *Dish pictured is the beef stew ramen with corn and a boiled egg added. Super delicious and meat was soooo tender! Highly recommend.
