I had an enjoyable stay at the JB Duke hotel. It is very convenient if you have any business at Duke. The hotel is a short walk to Cameron, Wallace Wade, Fuqua, etc., and the shuttle makes getting around quite easy. The parking garage is a 2 or 3 minute walk from the hotel.
The lobby bar and restaurant are quite good. The drink specials were inviting and my post game lunch was excellent. I ordered the potstickers and the portions were large. Breakfast at the marketplace was excellent as well.
The fitness center is a decent size, and the hotel is close to many walking trails through Duke Forest. -
JB Duke Hotel is a great place to stay with friendly service and beautiful rooms!! The GM, Don Ball, does whatever it takes to make sure that the customer is happy and satisfied during their visit. It's highly recommend the spot is a great place to stay when at or near Duke University!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary! Everyone was super kind and caring and treated us with love. The hotel decor is simply beautiful with windows everywhere sporting beautiful views. The food was yummy. The location was ideal!

Our family stayed here during our visit for a tour of Duke University. Every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—our children especially loved it.

Stayed for work event. Staff welcoming and professional and friendly. Good gym. Food is amazing. Ester who works the omelette station is a star. The chef is friendly and talented. All restaurants staff is friendly and kind. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Durham area. Near the rdu airport.
