The GNC at New Hope Commons Dr in Durham NC showed excellent customer service. Doug helped me to pick out the best vitamins for my digestion. He was very helpful to explain any questions I had about the item. Definitely recommend seeing him at this store. -
This is the second time i've come to this GNC and it is closed during operating hours. Its 10:53am. Says its supposed to be open on both google and the door schedule at 10am. -
Worst customer service. I asked the guy behind the counter for some assistance in locating a product. I showed him that online is showing that he has several trail bottles of the alpha lion burn 2.0 in stock in all three flavors. The gentleman swore up and down that the website is wrong and that you did not have it. As I’m leaving the store frustrated I notice that the product I’m looking for is on the shelf at the front of the store after he swore up and down that the website is wrong. I told the guy that he probably needs to understand the layout of his store before telling someone he doesn’t have a product. Looking to buy a bottle of each flavor to try and left instead. I’ll let someone else have the sale. -
I went here today, the door was locked. no sign, it was about 2pm. Waited around with various homeless ppl in the parking lot begging for money, eventually the dude unlocks the door. I go in there asking if they have glycene, a very basic ammino acid. The guy says we dont have it but alot of people ask for it. Do they know anything about running a buisiness. Anyway the shelves are bare, everything marked way up, and stuff sitting on the shelf still in the shipping boxes. If you are looking for suppliments, check out wegmans around the corner. They have more stuff (glycene), the isle is bigger than this store and everything you will find there, but its cheaper even though wegmans is expensive. They also have amazing food too. Ended up buying protein powder for $10 less than GNC as well. I have no idea why anyone would ever go here or how they even stay open
Edit: And the owner has this copy/paste template saying thank you/sorry the exact same way on every review! 🤣 -
Doug Rifkin at GNC is absolutely outstanding! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about supplements and always takes the time to explain what works best for my goals. His friendly attitude and genuine care make every visit a great experience. I always leave feeling confident in my purchases—definitely a 5-star employee!
