Birthed from the American Tobacco Company, one of the first companies included in the Dow International Average in 1896. It was originally formed as a merger of tobacco companies, including Lucky Strike and Pall Mall. Brought the family to watch Cosmic Baseball tonight - Durham Bulls against the Richmond Chilli Peppers. We had a BLAST!! The blacklight set up they had was so ridiculously easy, I hope and pray more local 2A-3A teams will start doing it too! The players still played a skilled game was easing up and having more fun with it. The kids AND the adults were dancing and having a great time. I haven't heard so much laughter, crowd participation, and excitement at a local ballgame in years!!! It was a family-friendly night that allowed all of us to kick back and have fun with it! No fighting from a single person, no overly drunk people, not a single rude person, and our neighbors sitting all around us were nice, respectful and funny. Both teams constantly threw out sighed balls into the crowd adding another layer of excitement. Seeing young boys jumping feverishly trying to be notices so they get the ball... was reminiscent of easier times before our political divisions in our country. Baseball is America's past time; we acted as one audience, one America tonight We drove 3 hours just to attend the game, but it was well worth it. I can't wait to go to another Cosmic baseball game!! It's almost 3am but I'm still energized from the game! So MUCH FUN!! ❤️🤩

I love this place! I love nature and architecture and American Tobacco Campus blends both of them beautifully! The atmosphere is so peaceful. The river flowing through the campus is my favorite part. We like to eat dinner at Mellow Mushroom and sit on the patio to see and hear the water. You can even walk around with alcoholic beverages. You just ask the restaurant for a special to-go cup for your drink. ☺️🥂

Beautiful use for what was once a tobacco factory. The ambiance, ample parking and a mix of restaurants, cute shops, flowers and founts makes this place a lovely outing!

Very cool and well-manicured historic district. One of the best efforts of “gentrification” I’ve seen. Tastefully done, blending the aesthetics. I would’ve enjoyed some more plaques or boards describing the history of ATC.

Lots of things to do. Places to eat. Places to shop. Plenty of parking. It's right across from Durham Bulls Stadium. Plenty of parking. Well groomed. Mellow mushroom serves good pizza

The charming old building is beautiful, and it's great for families or couples to dine. Most of all, the spaciousness was what I liked the most.

The walk in the tobacco campus is stunning and peaceful. It is such a nice place to shop for gifts, have lunch at a cafe, and even listen to all of the running water. I highly recommend a visit!

We came here to have breakfast at one of the places. There are many options around this area. I don’t know much about it but the food is pretty good. 👍

Awesome historical industrial buildings re-purpose into work and entertainment centers. The industrial bays are converted into restaurants, entertainment venues and work center.

A must see while you are in Durham. Wonderful history and artifacts. Whereas most towns scrap old buildings, the refurbishing here is impressive. Bring your pet(s) they can wander inside the immense courtyard while you dine and take in the sites.

I absolutely loved this campus and the way the old buildings are being used for offices and retail! The architecture is amazing. And all the old school advertising makes me want to smoke a cigarette (something I’ve never actually done). I stopped by after the an amazing experience at a Durham Bulls game.

This is a fun place to walk around and enjoy the garden. It's also a fun place to people watch. I was there less than an hour and saw two separate quinceañeras.

I am obsessed with this location! The water feature throughout is so peaceful and serene. Landscaping is beautiful, thanks to the Nature Conservancy. Repurposing this factory into something functional and turning it into a destination was genius. Being across the street from the Durham Bulls Stadium makes this area a must see in Durham.
