I really don't have any notes except for I wish they were open for longer than 9:00 p.m. I originally went to moondog for karaoke night with some friends and realized they weren't serving food but would welcome food from other places just not drinks. I had not eaten all day so I was thinking this place was somewhere I can get a quick burger or a quick meal and go back. I was happily mistaken when I walked in and was captivated by the atmosphere. Pristine walls with original artworks and music that was hurt but never louder than the voice of the person at your table. I was cordially welcomed by the host who informed me that the grill is going to close at 9:00 and I wanted to place my order right then and there.
He gently guided me to the bar table where I got to take some time and look at what I wanted. He made recommendations that I was thinking about already such as the empanadas and the Argentinean themed signature state that they serve. I ordered both along with some shrimp and cocktails as well as an artichoke dip with a side of asparagus.
I rarely eat food that makes me emotional but when I do it is simply a Divine moment. The steak was so savory with exciting hints of zesty acids that came with the vinegar-based sauce that they offered with the steak. The asparagus was a delicate balance between crisp yet chewy with the crisper parts being at the end of the stock where there's a little more fiber. The shrimp was laced with lemon juice and a nice cocktail sauce which you can never go wrong with. The artichoke dip with chunky and filling with the nacho chips that they made. Going back to the stake, it was strong as it was difficult for me to cut as its gaming texture refused to separate between the blade but once I managed to get it cut and put it in my mouth it seemed like the meat melted away on my tongue.
I would strongly recommend this place for a nice sit-down meal, a congratulatory dinner, or a date, or simply catching up with a friend. The beautiful atmosphere with original artworks sets the conversation and brings many for visitors to talk about and the ambiance is relaxing for gentle conversations. The food was simply sublime and my friends who partook in this large meal that I ordered, had nothing but praise for the food and the cooks that prepared it. I definitely recommend sitting down and enjoying the space and the people in it and not to do what I did and walk in hoping to pick something up and walk back out. This felt like a place that I needed to show up as my best self. When I return, I'm going to return with a nice date and my best looks to set the tone in the occasion for a great and classy night.

This is a fun little restaurant with great food and a pretty diverse menu that will suit a lot of different diets (gluten free, vegan, etc). They have a really excellent salad menu, very creative pizzas, these things called Pinsas, which is sort of like a pizza but lighter and with different options for toppings. There is also some standard wrap and sandwich fare.

Fun lunch spot with a pet-friendly, covered patio so you can bring your fur baby. Pinsa (personal pizza) for one is a great option & comes in a larger size for 2-3 people. Pick one of their combo toppings or design your own.

We've ordered quite a few things here and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. It's also a great place to have in the neighborhood and the prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of food that you get. They also have a good and varied selection of menu items.

We heard so much about their onion rings and couldn't wait to try them.
But, when we ordered them with our hamburgers, we were told that they had no onion rings "cause they were saving them for online orders".
It didn't help that while we were at the register, 2 orders of onion rings were sent to customers seated in the restaurant! When we questioned why they could get onion rings, the person at the register said that these customers got the last of the onion rings before they had to SAVE THE REST FOR ONLINE ORDERS. (We were there at 11:15am)
We told him that it doesn't make since NOT to give a customer that was there in person preference to an online order and we were told that "it's a struggle to turn off the onion rings on the online orders site"
If I had thought quicker, I should have pulled out my phone right then and done on ONLINE order for my lunch!
Sadly that Customers showing up IN person to eat AT the restaurant are not treated more importantly than online orders.

I was overjoyed to see The Loop in Durham, as I'm a native Floridian that has been homesick for this place. My Loop Burger with cheddar was as good as I remember- thick, juicy, and fresh! That first bite was a near-spiritual experience and I spent my meal time silently contemplating how the char could still be so perfect when we're states away. Kudos to the team- I'll be seeing you again, hungry for burgers and for home.

Have driven by many times, and always wanted to stop in and try The Loop. Tonight, I did, and the Onion Soup was really great!
Most impressive was the staff, they were all so super friendly and helpful. Especially the young lady at the till tonight, she was a delight.
While I waited for my food to be prepared an elderly gentleman came in to collect his to go order, The young lady at the till was so nice and respectfull of this man, he had a bad back that impacted his ability to walk, the young lady not only very nicely helped and served him but even offered to help the man carry his order out to his car. She packaged everything up nicely for him and took it to his car. This was so heartwarming to see. A polite, respectful, professional young person doing a great job.

When they first opened this location, there was a noticeable difference in the quality of food. It stayed that way after a few visits so I stopped coming. However, today, I decided to try it again and I’m really glad that I did! It was absolutely fantastic! The salad in particular was extremely good particularly considering that it was only a “small side salad.”

Amazing vegan / vegetarian options. The onion rings are perfect. The black bean burger was flavorful. Even the homemade dressings for the salads were good. Will be coming back.

This past Sunday 2nd visit since last Sunday. This time had cheese burger & onion rings . Delicious. Great staff. Great food. Great atmosphere. Last wk had Delicious French onion soup & a salad. Best French onion soup I've had in yrs.
This is our new favorite place to come & eat !! Keep up the great work & Awesome menu !

Updating my review based on our last experience. The blackened chicken Caesar salad is one of our favorites, as are the rosemary chips. My wife enjoys the tomato soup and wrap. Reminds us of the good ole days when we enjoyed this chain in Winston Salem. They still have some kinks to work out with staff but the food is very good.

In town for the day, needed a nice "local" place to eat. And we did! Great burgers and fries, cooked exactly as we asked. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back!

I got the bacon cheddar and fries. My friend got a chicken salad and onion rings. That was actually the best burger I've ever had. It was nice not to have to worry about dumping your tray and stuff. They take care of it for ya!

Great restaurant for a broad range of tastes. Nothing too fancy, but solid, tasty food all around. True highlight is the french onion soup, which is creamier and a hint sweeter than typical french onion soup. Kids meals are also a great deal, with options beyond chicken strips. Asian chicken wrap with the french onion soup for the side is my go to order.

Great onion rings… burgers need work
Staff was poor, stood to order for 3 minutes before I was acknowledged. Asked question about difference between American burger and loop burger. Was shrugged off… I don’t anyone speaks English.
