Truly enjoyed my travels and visiting Downtown Durham and the new Tea Bar Cafe in the Hayti Heritage District.
Enjoyed the Morning Melt breakfast sandwich with creamy grits, and coffee. Food cooked well with patience and love, and very tasty and filling! Owner greeted customers with a smile and was very sweet. Looking forward to visiting again soon. -
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Great food at great prices. The Mocha Swirl drink was very good. Chef accommodated me being vegetarian by substituting beyond meat which was greatly appreciated. The grits and potatoes were cooked to perfection.

Awesome addition to the neighborhood and smart business model as a collective kitchen. Breakfast options, and different menus for lunch and dinner. Will be back to try the wings at night and grab a cocktail.

I picked up the Salmon Gouda Cheese sandwich which pretty good. The brother forgot about me as I was waiting. After 30 min and people who order after me leaving with their orders, I asked and it was ready. Other food on the menu looks good but I will have to explore the next time I'm in town.

Randomly came to this place with friends for a quick bite & some tea. The breakfast melt was delicious as well as the Southern Black Girl tea. It was not too busy which gave it a cozy vibe on their couches, I loved it. Will be a go-to spot for sure.
