Oh the times I’ve had at this target. It’s become almost a weekly ritual to visit this place after appointments. Even though I love spending time in the fitting room or perusing items in the personal health section, I find the music they play intolerable. I’d recommend some headphones and not expecting anything of target lingerie. -
They don’t honor their prices! I was hosting a small get together and we really love the Duplin wine options. Saw that they had a bottle for $4.49 so I got 4 bottles. Get to the register and they rang up at $8.99. The customer service manager came over and snapped at ME saying that the price couldn’t be altered because it was alcohol. When I showed her the tag and the location as well as having a picture for proof, only then she tried to change her story and say that it wasn’t the right bottle. Now I’m not an idiot I can clearly read the tag and everything was matching up just not the price. Now having worked in a grocery store myself even if you can’t alter a price you still do your best for the customer, however the CSM or lead did not make an effort. It was also embarrassing for me as a customer who already had well over $100 rang up and I didn’t want to hold the line. I was so mad and upset that nothing was done I didn’t keep the receipt concluding it wasn’t worth the argument if I’m not going to be heard as a customer. What happed to good customer service? -
It's the closest target near me, but it's so nice inside. It's been awhile since I've shopped target, but it's worth the drive. Clean store, it's just appealing to shop in, everything you need under one roof. Plenty of checkout lanes, and plenty of staff also, and they are willing to help. -
Unsure why every time I visit, the “customer” I’ve seen the last couple trips is following me and my wife isle by isle with nothing in their cart. When I ask if we’re in the way or if we could help them find something since they are always looking over my shoulder searching for their items they always say nope and continue to follow with their empty cart.
I shop there to pick up items as a last resort for like sunscreen, laundry detergent, and maybe a phone screen protector because we don’t like being followed. It would be very rare another shopper would be in that many random isles behind us and still not have anything in their cart.
Do better! Not sure I like being profiled while shopping.
If it’s not your guy then you have a customer who’s been shopping for weeks and may need your assistance finding their items -
I’m disappointed with my recent shopping experience at this Target location on Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. Yesterday, I purchased a bag of SunChips French Onion, and after tasting them, I checked the date and realized they were expired in April 2026. It is now June 2026.
This is the second time I’ve purchased an expired item from this location. Back in December 2024, I also bought Quaker granola bars that were expired.
I understand mistakes can happen, but expired food being left on the shelves more than once makes me question whether inventory and expiration dates are being checked properly. Customers should be able to trust that food items on the shelf are safe and current.
I hope management reviews their stocking and inventory process more closely so this does not keep happening.
