It is a rare and unfortunate occasion that I find it necessary to publicly remark on a service experience. However, the lack of professional decorum I encountered at this establishment warrants formal documentation.
Business is built upon a foundation of mutual respect, a principle that was conspicuously absent during my interaction with the owner. To be treated with such overt condescension—suggesting a customer is somehow 'undeserving' of an acquisition—is not merely poor service; it is a profound failure of professional character.
True excellence in commerce is reflected in how a proprietor conducts themselves with every individual. Regrettably, the lack of dignity shown here has made it clear that my patronage, and that of anyone who values respectful engagement, is better directed elsewhere -
I had a very disappointing in-store experience at the Swarovski store.( Streets at South point,Durham,NC)
I initially received a pair of Swarovski earrings as a gift and visited the store to ask if I could receive store credit so I could choose something later. The salesperson was extremely rude and clearly stated that store credit was not possible and that I had to purchase something immediately.
Since I felt pressured, I purchased a bracelet of the same value. At no point was I informed that this was a final sale or that exchanges were restricted.
About a month later, I returned to the store after finding an earring I liked and asked for an exchange. The store manager refused, stating that the receipt said “exchange” and therefore it was final sale. When I explained the situation, she acknowledged that she didn’t know why the salesperson had refused to give store credit initially, but still declined to help and directed me to customer support.
Customer support was also unhelpful and initially claimed they had no responsibility for in-store purchases, despite this being a Swarovski brand store. After a long back-and-forth, they only offered to file a complaint, and I have still not received any follow-up email or confirmation.
This experience showed a lack of transparency, poor communication, and inconsistent policies. For a premium brand like Swarovski, I expected far better customer service and clarity. -
I recently purchased a Swarovski watch and the product itself was absolutely beautiful. We spent a good amount of money on it, and I was genuinely excited to wear it. Unfortunately, my experience at this store completely ruined that excitement.
We requested to have the watch resized, but the store manager handled it very poorly. She was hammering the watch aggressively and seemed unsure about how to properly resize it. The way the product was handled felt extremely rough and unprofessional. By the time she was done, the watch looked damaged, and I did not feel comfortable taking it back home in that condition.
It was very disappointing to see such a delicate and expensive item treated without care. Based on my experience, I will never recommend this store to anyone. I truly hope they improve their service and training, especially when dealing with luxury products. -
I went last weekend with a friend to buy some jewelry for her upcoming wedding. We were greeted by two wonderful staff members that were very helpful. We took our time picking out a few earrings and necklaces, and the manager gave us her card to call if we ever needed anything! The shop is very clean, organized and well-lit. Great experience! -
This store is awesome! I ordered an item online. It came in and it was damaged. Customer service was not much help. I by chance went to the store to see if they could help. They located a new one for me and got it in. I'm very happy with the experience.
