It was delicious! The staff was extremely courteous. We had more than enough food that we took some home to share. Everything was awesome.

Although in an unassuming setting, this little restaurant serves up some of the best Indian food I've had. The spices were expertly done by Chef Balkrishan. Everyone was helpful and friendly and the food was excellent!

One of the best biryanis I’ve had in a long time. I come here often with friends, and being away from home, it’s become my go-to spot for quality Indian food. The staff are warm and friendly, and the overall atmosphere is great. If your are in the Durham or Duke area this is one of the best places to get quality Indian food!

I’ve ordered from Saffron Indian Café many times, and the food is always delicious, consistent, flavorful, and freshly made. I finally stopped by in person for the first time yesterday, and it was even better! The chef personally came out to ask how we liked the food, which really showed how much they care about their guests. Excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and the same amazing flavors I’ve come to love.

Visiting the area for work. A colleague recommended as I have never tried Indian cuisine… I know where I’ll be eating dinner for the next 4 nights!!! The most delicious food, great customer service, nice and clean!!! 100/10 would recommend!!

I fell in love with this place over the last couple months. Each dish I've had has been nothing short of AMAZING. They have truly gained my loyalty in my selection for Indian cuisine. The staff was very helpful to assist in picking a dish and they never disappointed. If I could give more stars I would but since I can't, I'll have to come back again to leave a new review and more stars 😁 Chef Balkrishan AND RAJEEV were OUTSTANDING

Great place with delicious Indian food.
I just love their Mango lassi. Real mango and most delicate taste.
Very friendly people work in this cafe. The service is fast and caring. Very tasty food.
The chef tries to count all your preferences and makes the food as spicy as you ask for. I sincerely recommend this place. I like to sit outside, but the inside of the cafe is also nice.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I’ve never had naan this good before, it was warm, fluffy, and so tasty. The samosas were packed with flavor and just as delicious. The chicken tikka masala leaned more on the savory side (some places make it sweeter), but it was still excellent. What really stood out to me was the customer service. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and genuinely caring, it made the whole experience even better. My only critique is how hot it was inside, I was sweating so much, but the food was still worth it.

Came to saffron for dinner and the food was amazing. My wife and I both ordered butter chicken which was delicious. The garlic naan was great. Everything was made fresh when we ordered and the staff was super friendly. The owner came over while we were eating and asked how everything was. We will definitely be back.

I have had Indian food before but it has never been this good. The staff was very helpful. Helped me with the menu. I had butter chicken and it was thousands percent better than all others (probably better than the Rarth. I highly recommend Saffron to e eryome. They something for everyone. Thank you, Saffron. It was an educational experience. Check them out freaking awesome
