I’ve been selling and buying here for like 6 years! Both locations are fantastic and have such a good selection for all genders, and it’s also super size inclusive. I once left behind a pair of my dream pants on accident and I dm’ed the staff and they went above and beyond to hunt them down for me.

I love Rumors. I have come here before and found perfect items. It’s a place full of whimsy and eclectic pieces, and everyone is welcome. It truly feels like a safe space where you can find who you are in clothes.

While I have definitely found a few good pieces here, I have mixed feelings about Rumors. The pricing can be inconsistent and sometimes high for what you're getting. I know it's mostly nicer stuff and is better curated than a thrift store but some of it is also clearly pretty cheap, junky and/or just tacky and yet priced at like $10-$12 when it should probably be more like $6. Very recently I found a nice but very simple sheer top for only $4 and that was reasonable, almost a steal. About a week or so later though, I saw a very similar top, sheer and thin and not much to it, also very simple, and it was $10. Why more than twice as much for a such a similar top? And no it was not a nice brand or anything. And a little denim vest doesn't need to be $18 used, that's a bit much. An old men's t-shirt also for $18 is even more absurd. I mean c'mon folks, it's a used simple t-shirt, clearly like twenty years old and it isn't even "designer" or anything like that. A lot of nice t-shirts are $20-$25 new so $18 for an old used one is pretty messed up. It's the same kind of inconsistency and overpricing I see at thrift stores and it's been really frustrating for a while now. But this place is still worth visiting, you just have to go fairly frequently to find something good. And just be aware of those prices, they aren't always very fair.
