In a continuously growing section of Lakewood, a once vacant stand is now full of friendly vibes, serving the community classic and creative beef or pork barbeque hot dogs. QueDogs, a minority-owned, family-run business, began operating as a pop up during the pandemic. They now have a permanent spot for folks to enjoy. Taking a nostalgic treat, QueDogs ups the ante by topping it with their award-winning chopped Que, slaw and chili. They also have pulled pork sandwiches and combo plates. It’s the perfect fast-casual place to grab a bite as you shop or drive through the area.

I left an appointment at the Durham VA and Que Dogs was the very first thing that popped up on Google Maps, and I’m glad it did! The hot dogs were loaded with toppings and packed with flavor, it was hard to even finish the second one. Quick, friendly service and exactly what I needed. They support veterans. I’ll definitely be back!

The first thing I noticed was the high 99.5 A sanitary score! The young lady who took my order was very professional. I enjoyed my meal tremendously! Definitely try the ATW Dog. I also recommend the potato salad and BBQ pint. Que Dogs has a customer for life in me!

Quaint little hot dog hut. The Que dog and the ATW dog are both excellent. The bbq is excellent and the we loved having the choice of an all beef hotdog. Definitely try the the potato salad and the Blondie. I believe the owner helped us and he was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend you stop by for a quick lunch.

Cute little spot! Was craving a hot dog real bad and we found this cute little stand. Hotdogs were so delicious! Their potato salad with bacon was amazing too. 10/10 ❤️

Outstanding, this will be a new routine for us. We got the BBQ sandwich and hot dog combo. DELICIOUS. The Q was perfectly - and I man PERFECTLY - seasoned. The dog was tasty too. Owners were super sweet. If I thought I could fit another in my belly, we'd order again.
A little hard to find - it's the tiny dog house out by itself in the middle of Lakewood Shopping Center.

Great little hot dogs shop! The Quedog was amazing, perfectly seasoned pulled pork, snappy hot dog, and a soft bun were amazing. The service was good and the guy working behind the counter was very friendly. I’ll definitely have to come back and try more of their menu!!

This is a great little hot dog shop! It combines two of my favorite things, hot dogs and bbq. I had the beef dog and it had a great taste, good snap, and the pulled pork and slaw made it a great combo. Only wish is that they had picnic tables! Still we were good to eat them in the car. My kids got the same things and loved them.

So glad I was in the mood for a hot dog and was in the area. Don't let the small size of the establishment fool you. There is some big flavor in this place! I got the #2 combo that came with the ATW dog & bbq sandwich w/ a side and drink. Also picked up a blondie for dessert. Everything was AMAZING. The hot dog was juicy and piled high with all the classics. I really like that they use red onions and not white. They taste less bitter imo. The bbq sandwich was seasoned so well it didn't even need sauce, even though that was also delicious. And whoever's granny made that potato salad must be protected at all costs. Add to that the stellar customer service (he walked my order out to my car) and this spot easily gets 10/10, will visit again.

Sometimes food is so good that it evokes anger from me because I get mad that food doesn’t always taste this good. QueDogs put me in a rage and I will likely stay enraged for the rest of the day because I wish I was eating more. The BBQ is great and the dog is top quality. I cannot wait until I hit this place up again. Do yourself a favor and eat one right now!
