Good selection of clothes, reasonably priced, sorted by size. Lots of other goods but my time was limited. Whenever I'm in town, I've enjoyed shopping at Scrap Exchange, now I'll add a stop at Scrap Thrift.

Huge thrift store with a variety of items. The books section alone is worth the visit, and they are organized by genre so it’s easy to browse through. They have a clean bathroom and weren’t too busy when I went. Definitely my favorite thrift store in Durham.

Prices seem to be going up as is the trend with many thrifts, and the sale colour wheel no longer applies to clothes (which you'd think they'd want to move faster) and some jewelry, but they're still miles better than Goodwill and bargains can be had if you look - and there's plenty of square feet to search! Whether you're looking for a vegan cookbook, some DVDs of your favourite show that's off Netflix again, or a nice blouse for a job interview, chances are you'll find it here. Where Scrap Thrift really shines is in the staff, always keeping shelves stocked and as tidy as possible, answering questions, and keeping checkout lines moving as well as they can. The checkout staff are a particular benefit to Scrap, with warm welcomes and a keen memory for regulars. I always appreciate a heads up to check out freshly restocked books when I walk in (though my remaining bookshelf space disagrees)! It can't be easy keeping a space this size running smoothly and I hope management appreciates the positive impact of the employees who represent the business in-person to the customers.

A treasure hunt every time. My only complaint is that checkout sometimes takes forever, but I don't let that stop me from going just about every week and coming home with something

They always go above and beyond to help me find that odd piece or texture I need for my home and garden projects and ways to tie it all together. Repurposed Fab all the way! 🙌🏾

I thrift almost everything I buy and this is hands down my favorite thrift store. Great place for clothes, home decor, and smaller household items. Nicer finds are usually a little more expensive and may even be highlighted as part of a special display. There is so much to choose from; you will definitely find what you came for and more!

I always find something here. They have a good bit of stuff here: clothes, scarves, luggage, cups, kitchenware, books, records, stuffed animals, Christmas decor, knick knacks, blankets, since furniture, antiques, etc. The book section here is big and very well organized for a thrift shop. Some of the stuff in the front is also a bit more antique-y, but if your not interested in that most of the store is you're standard thrift faire. They have sales on different colored items everyday. As a thrift junkie I recommend.

One of the coolest thrift stores ever. Tons of stuff you don't find in a regular old thrift store.

A vast treasure trove of wonderful delights. I come here for books (the largest well organized book selection that I have ever come across for budget prices) and gym bags, sometimes I come for games to contribute to "Game Night".

Scrap exchange makes use of things I might otherwise throw in the garbage. and, when I want "new" books for my grandchild or a new lamp shade for an old lamp or many other odds and ends, they are a great place to look. A wonderful way to reuse things and an economical way to shop

It's the Scrap Exchange and Thrift Store- two separate structures and concepts. Both are great and dedicated to recycling everything. They accept almost donations and generally have great prices. Picked up a silk lampshade in perfect condition today for only $2.

There ARE hidden treasures here, & I typically stop by a couple of times a week - and I certainly buy plenty - but I do wish the "baseline" quality was a higher level. The books & media section is GREAT, furniture - not so much. Staff is awesome & friendly!
