This is some of the most delicious food I have had in ages. Literally every dish was perfectly seasoned and remarkably delicious! Most of the dishes were marinated over 24 hours and you can taste it in every bite.
Our group ordered most of the menu and each dish, while quite different, satisfied us and sent us home with more to boot! Very large servings (enough to share).
Great vegan stew option for those looking for veg options. And the friendliest chef owner ever.
If you have never had Haitian food, there is no need to wait another day! -
The food was so good better than any Haitian food I have had and that’s Miami included even my bf who is Haitian said it was the best. I definitely recommend it all you truly can’t go wrong but I love griot and pikilliz. The Haitian champagne fruit cola is very good as well as the Haitian lemonade.

A friend and I stumbled in here on a whim the other night, not knowing what to expect. What we were greeted with was not only incredible food, but some of the kindest and best service I’ve experienced in Durham. We both had the legume platter and shared the Mac and cheese. Make sure you come here hungry because the portions are very large and you aren’t going to want to stop eating (the food is that good!). While this was my first experience with Haitian food, it definitely won’t be my last. This is a must try spot! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

If you want flavorfilled Haitian food! This is the place to go. The food is good the portions is good, their lemonade is authentic. Definitely one of the best grab and go places in Durham. Just be aware of their hours and call to place your order it's better than Grubhub!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I’m visiting the area from FL and was looking for local Haitian cuisine when I found them. I ordered the griot plate which was absolutely delicious. They packed my plate full with griot, banan peze, and pikliz with sos on the side. The meat was so juicy and fried to perfection, the banan perfectly crisp and seasoned, and the pikliz (which im usually very particular about) was just as spicy and flavorful as I expected. The customer service is amazing as well. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with warm welcomes and friendly conversation. They were very helpful with ordering and brought my food out quicker than any other (non-fast food) restaurant I’ve been to. 10/10 Will be recommending to everyone I know!!!
