Booked with Paddywax for a group of 3. If you all book please ask for Emma, she was an amazing instructor making the experience of making candles for the first time an amazing memory. From when we entered into the building to leaving with a smile on our face. I would most definitely go again. Emma gave I’m depth instructions and even suggested a few ideas on what senses are good paired with each other. You are allowed to pair different senses together and pick out your own vessel to place your candle wax and scent in. There are candle vessels that you can clean out and use as storage, decoration, tea cups and more. Would most definitely come back again. Especially, knowing that we can reuse the same candle vessel and make a new candle scent.

Our office department went here as part of our Holiday party. Our group loved making candles here! The assortment of vessels that they have to choose from was awesome and the staff were very interactive with us . It was a great experience

Was able to make a same day reservation to make candles for myself and 2 family members. We thought the process was cool, and the staff is helpful throughout while still allowing guests a lot of autonomy while they make their creations. Candles are ready after about 2 hours on the same day and you get a good in-store discount too! Would recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back activity in the heart of Durham.

I made reservations for my birthday with some family and friends. We had the honor of having Sher and M be be our instructors and they were absolutely wonderful! They made the entire experience perfect. I will most definitely be returning. Thank you!💓

It was a beautiful and different experience. Went with my brother and mother to walk around and came across this store and ended up staying. Me and my brother ended up making a candle of our own likes. You get to choose your own container and scent. The staffs are also very sweet and helpful. Which makes it even more special. Would highly recommend to give this place a try. The vibes are calm and peaceful. You can go alone, with a sibling, a parent, or a special someone. At the end it’s a fun and unique activity to try out.

My sister and I went for our monthly sister date night and had a wonderful time! Em was the employee working with us and wow what a wonderful treasure she was!! She was managing us and two other parties and we just had such a time getting to make candles, learning the process, but also just vibing with her. We will be back, especially if we get to work with Em again!

Fun adventure today! Staff were very friendly, informative, and helpful! The process takes about 30-40 minutes. However, keep in mind that you have to wait for around 2 hours for your candle to “set” or you can also go back another day and pick it up! We enjoyed Yonderlust Cafe and the shops at Brightleaf while waiting. Beautiful day to walk around!

Went to do a custom pour to celebrate an anniversary and Emma was amazing!! She explained the process super thoughtfully, was great at answering our questions, helped us pick out our vessel and our scents and we couldn't be happier with our candles. Emma even made sure our parking situation was taken care of swiftly and made the whole experience so fun. Overall the scent and candle vessel options were great. They had a style for everyone and a good variety of scents. Highly recommend going to this location, great staff!

We had the most fun & simple candle making morning! Loved getting to make something for home and gifts…. but also, shopping! It’s great to know I can buy a candle and bring it back to refill anytime at an amazing price! Cannot wait to stock up more.
