Mystic Farm and Distillery
Phone: (919) 808-1835
Mystic Farm and Distillery started making small-batch, handmade Mystic Bourbon Liqueur by blending mature bourbon with wildflower honey and nine spices. Nearly a decade later, it's the first bourbon distillery in the Triangle since prohibition known for its award-winning, limited-release Broken Oak Bourbon. Mystic is farm-to-flask and the world’s largest solar-powered bourbon distillery. Located on a 22-acre site, visitors can visit the farm and fields, tour the distillery, learn about the distilling process and taste their products.

My brother, son & I visited this Distillery to taste some great bourbon while learning about their operations via their weekend tour. The tour consisted of watching some short videos while walking through the Distilling process. We got to view the real equipment used like their fermentation vessels, pumps and heat exchanger. The space is small so very little walking is required. The staff was super friendly, informative and funny. At the end, we got to sample numerous bourbons, gins & vodkas made at their location. My brother couldn't resist to purchase a few bottles to take home to Delaware. If your a bourbon fan, I recommend visiting this quaint little business that has some successful products already available to enjoy! -
Went to the bourbon and cigar event this past weekend, and it was phenomenal. The owners gave a thorough tour of their facility; we went through how bourbon is made and its different properties. It was quite amazing to smell and taste the difference in a single type of bourbon. The cigar-making class part was also nice; we saw how to wrap up a cigar, which looked very hard, and we were able to enjoy a cigar along with a bourbon tasting. The property is beautiful to walk around in. I definitely will be back for another event. -
I found their bourbon completely by chance at ABC store and it is absolutely delicious. I looked up a good cocktail that goes with bourbon and the ginger beer with a hint of lime and this bourbon pair is really well. I would love to check out their actual distillery because it’s really cool that they’re in stores and they’re also a local distillery. I am excited to try more from them. -
It was easy access with our RV and the area spacious enough for parking. Communication and instructions were nice and easy to follow.
We had a nice one night stay and the goats… are TOO cute!! OMG…
We did make a purchase of a bottle of gin. We were unable to do a tasting as they had a big party in there but that was ok. We bought it and had it later with a gin and tonic. -
My brother and I brought my dad here for a tour for a Father's Day gift, and it was a wonderful experience. We ended up being the only people on the tour, and Johnathan was awesome answering all of our questions. The tour is informative and entertaining, the vibe is warm and welcoming, and the spirits are truly exceptional. Highly Recommended.
