New ownership that took over in 2024 is investing in the course and it shows. Greens are in nice shape. Entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. Challenging course that requires you to keep the ball in play (lots of vegetation in woods and wetlands areas on almost every hole). A good course to play a tee box forward than you normally play. One of Raleigh Durham’s nice public courses. Will be back!

Decent course for the cost. Aka good value . Well played so not in the best of shape . Great layout and really can be challenging so if you're looking for a change of pace it's a good course to try.. no driving range but they have a chipping and putting area

This course has a great layout! Very challenging especially since it’s our first time playing. I feel like you can play it over and over and not get bored of it. The staff:: 5 out of 5! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! We’ll be back.

A few years ago they mentioned doing some work. I played it and the layout was excellent but the course needed work. I tried it yesterday and I have to say it was in impressive condition outside of the cart path. The greens are excellent and even the bunkers were good. I will likely play once a month now.

this is a fun course with a challenging layout and excellent greens that were fully replaced last year.

it's also a heck of a walk for those who are so inclined.

and if you come here, make sure to get their new "Crossing Dog": a hot dog sitting on top of melted pimento cheese in a bun, covered with chili and topped with crushed jalapeno potato chips... Delicious and served with a smile!
