1/31/2026 Time Around 10:30 -11 am !! I decided to give this KFC one more try because I live just a few blocks away it's been years since I visited this location!! I was hoping there food quality had gone back to KFC'S standard but as you can see it hasn't! I tried calling to reach out to a manager at that location explaining to her that the 4 peice crispy chicken I purchased tasted like old grease, very dark in color and not KFC Standards!! She offered me to return it for replacement but before I could give a name or phone number she hung up on me..I thought it maybe was a error but she would not answer the phone when I tried calling back !! Pictures of my chicken speaks for itself. KFC'S CRISPY Chicken should be light in color with a flaky crust the grease should be changed often I'm not going by Employees standards but a man who built a company with the desire of having good quality food and good customer service standards!! If the manager doesn't pay attention to what customers are saying the company suffers..I want go back to this location again even with the offer of replacement when a manager hangs up on you that means I don't want to hear your complaints I never said anything wrong I just wanted KFC'S standards when it comes to there RESTAURANTS. -
I placed an order online around 1930 and arrived at the store at 1945 and noticed that all of the lights were off as if the store was closed. I walked in and there was one staff member at the drive through on his phone with a line of 3 cars just sitting in the drive through. Once the staff member noticed me he told me that they are closed and I said “well I was somehow able to put in an online order for this location and am supposed to pick it up at 2000”. Two more staff members walked out of an office and one of them told the original staff member to lock the door. The service just got worse and worse as more people came in complaining and returning orders before the staff got a chance to lock the door. The staff members were cursing and just being rude to other customers. I heard the staff say that they didn’t have enough chicken to fill my order so a more senior staff member came over and grabbed a bunch of random chicken to throw in my bucket. Once I got home I check the chicken and most of it looked as if it had been picked over by Eric Cartman. I will not return.

It is really nice to come to a place where the manager is all over the place helping people and his employees, Anthony the manager at this location was great, and it reflects in the store and the atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and he was just genuinely nice to all the clients, I am amazed. Thank you for making my experience this nice.

Won’t lie since I moved to NC I’ve gotten use to bad service. From fast food to dine in it’s typically always bad service with rude employees which is odd for me because I really don’t care about if things get messed up. I expect less after living in other countries with amazing service. That being said I was very pleased with this location and experience. My meal was correct which most places it’s not. I believe the manager informed me an item would take 3/5min and offered me something else which was fine but I took the offer. The kind lady who took my payment was friendly and had colorful hair which I though was different but bold and I liked it. Great group of employees from my experience.

I went to KFC on Horton Rd today and they did not disappoint. The customer service was on point.Because I had to wait a bit for extra crispy chicken to come up,the manager Andre offered me something to drink while I waited. He and his staff were very efficient and very courteous. The chicken was very fresh and sides were very good. I give 5 stars on customer service and food.I will definitely be back!! Many thanks 😊
