If you are looking for decorations and supplies for pretty much any type of party this is your place. It is huge and covers pretty much any event I can think of. One caveat would be this is generally cheap stuff so not necessarily high end. Has huge assortment of various candies as well. Huge number of balloon option too and they will put helium in them for you. -
This really the closest Party City near me and have went there many times over the years. My daughter just had her 18th birthday and she wanted PINK giant number balloons to celebrate with but I had to order them online because the store only carries silver or gold. For balloons at $9.99 a PIECE, I thought that was a bit steep but you only turn 18 once, right? When I received them in the mail all I had to do is take them to the store with my receipt and they filled them for free and man they were HUGE and my daughter loved them. Located in New Hope Commons, staff was friendly and helpful. Not sure if they have a public restrooms but free store Wi Fi, parking and wheelchair accessible -
I was there at opening time, but I believe someone must have pre-ordered and already was walking out the door with balloons. I came for balloons, myself. It was my 1st time in this store location. The employee at the front had the “I hate my job”look as she welcomed me to “the party”. Well, guess what, dear-little old ladies write reviews. I asked where the number balloons were and the clerk waved in the direction of the back of the rather large store. How about some signs?? I didn’t find them (yes, they were RIGHT there) but I picked two other types I did find. I told the employee I couldn’t find the number balloons and she was so angry and exasperated with me and it was only 10:02 am. She also told me the balloon I picked was ginormous and I should pick from the “balloons over there”. The too big balloon had fun glitter in it-which is what I wanted. But, I guess I wasn’t allowed to get that, today. I was directed to very small latex balloons-which there is a family member with a latex allergy-so no. A customer even tried to help me when she saw I couldn’t find what I wanted. The employee gave me some more bad directions with an attitude and I found the number balloons, at last. I paid $35 for two large mylar number balloons and a very small mylar balloon with writing. The unhappy employee was very fast in making up the balloon bouquet and really knew her craft. It’s a shame she couldn’t give me some sort of fake smile or maybe ask me what I was imagining for the bouquet. In her defense, there was one customer waiting. So friendly banter was out of the question. I guess balloon suggestions are taboo there. With about 15 seconds of friendly talk, I probably would have spent twice as much. But instead-all I did was stand silently to avoid being the “KAREN” I felt like. Please don’t bully me, Party City. -
Party City got an update! I was very pleasantly surprised when I recently visited. The store is bright and clean with fresh stock being put out. The employees were super friendly and helpful! They went out of their way to make sure I was assisted and went to the back to get what I needed when I didn't find it immediately on the shelves. A delightful experience primarily because of the great customer service! I will definitely be back. 😊 -
I am extremely happy with my Durham Party City. I placed an online balloon order and it arrived the same day. The foil balloons were filled completely and sealed well. The prices were excellent. My in-store experience was also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Party City for all your helium balloons.
