We went camping in our travel trailer for the first time and it was a great experience! We brought our 2 shepherd dog and 2 year old. The place was very peaceful and relaxing. Everyone was friendly and nice. Already booked our next trip

Had a great time with my family here, clean Beach side decent facilities plenty of places to set up for food, and want to crowded. I got 5 people in for the nearly price of $7 per car, so it's definitely worth it for a cheap trip for the family!

It seems like the quality of the park depends on where you camp. We stayed in poplar point twice, one with an RV, and once tent camping in the first-come-first-serve spots. The reserved spots were much nicer. Yes, I know there is a difference between an RV site and a tent site, but the bathrooms and shower areas were better away from the section we stayed in to rent camp (section E). So I would recommend going only if you reserve ahead. Also, your neighbors in the non-reservation area are a little more interesting, to say the least. One group was out in the water in front of the sites running their jet ski wide open at 715 in the morning.

We love to go camping, fishing and even using the recreation center. We haven't had any luck on fishing. Last time we went camping our camp site flooded but it was still fun and we made memories that day trying to dig a canal so the water would drain and our tent wouldnt flood.

Clean beach, with shade and restrooms close by. Easy parking. And of course the lake is beautiful and the water is easy to adjust to.

Great experience on the lake. Some choppy waves in the main body for the boat, otherwise, fun time. Channels, or fingers of the lake are best for boaters. Gets deepest about 49 feet.

These are very nice camping sites! We were in site 1 and it was beautiful with wooded camping areas, a large field and a small beach for swimming! Bathrooms and showers were just past the playground (👍) and the area was clean and well kept. Jordan Lake camping is a super fun way to enjoy nature without having to 'rough it' too much. It's a great getaway for a family or friends!

We totally love camping at Jordan Lake. We were at Parker's Creek this time which was great, we haven't had a bad site at any of the campgrounds. We hiked on the red trail to the beach which was well marked and an easy hike. We put a canoe and kayak into the lake. We went fishing and caught a fish. We set up a carport to cook and dine under and had a group of friends join us for the day- totally relaxing trip. There is quite a bit of tree coverage for the campgrounds, so it does provide shelter from storms and sun.

Poplar Point campground is fantastic. This was our second time here. We have found that Loop E has some of the most scenic, enjoyable sites but they are walk up only so it is first come, first serve. Both times we have been here we spent Friday night at a different site, and then found people leaving Loop E on Saturday morning and were able to move into their site. E50 is a favorite with great water access and perfect launches for kayaks and paddle boards. The park also offers a military discount so for $20 a night (non-electric) this place is tough to beat!

This place is really great! So peaceful and overall wonderful place to take the family and enjoy nature. The lake is beautiful and the sunset was breathtaking! Our camping site was neat and free from debris. They have big trash tins positioned at every other site so you don't have to walk far, and they keep them clean and tidy. No trash overflowing. Loved it!

Great place to go with the family. It's convenient and very well kept. The sites and facilities are kept clean. Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen camping! Can't wait to go back!

Great place to take the family for a fun day on the water. You can pull boats and jetskis up to the little beach area and stay out all day for just $7 per car. Had a very fun day with the family. No issues with rude people or anyone getting in your personal space. Nobody messed with our stuff on the beach either while we were out on the water. I will definitely be back in the future.

GREAT STATE PARK! We were 3 sites of the beachfront area on the lake. New hook ups and large camp sites.

Great place to have fun! Lots to do and see. Took away one star because the park rangers aren't very friendly. It does cost $7 to get into the beach areas. Some are better than others. There are some nice hiking trails too.

Peaceful walks in the woods! Beautiful lake for one that is so close to a major city. Great place for the dogs to walk you!
