The hotels is really nice, and the staff is even nicer. There was a mess up with my lodging company and they were the best with my stuff and the mistake. I’d definitely come back here whenever I’m in town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

If you like Holiday Inn Express as a brand, you may want to choose a different HIE. From the very first moments of having to turn left into a narrow inclined driveway against traffic; until you visit the front desk multiple times to get an electronic key to work; until you see an extraordinary limited drink selection available near the sign in desk - you'll be second guessing yourself.
That said, the shower was excellent and the breakfast acceptable (no bacon, no potatoes however).

The staff was great. This is the first hotel I have stayed at without rude people,in a very long time. I will be keeping this hotel in my favorites for places to stay. They are also very nice to children as well.

Britney at the front desk and Doriann did an amazing job and made us feel very welcome. They are some of the nicest people I've encountered at a Holiday Inn.
Unfortunately there's something wrong with the water system, it smells like alge from a fish tank.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was pleasant, the place was clean, it was pretty quiet there, the breakfast was good with decent options. The parking lot was a little weird with only one entrance/exit, but I guess in a city that's to be expected. And if that's the only complaint it ain't bad.

This was my second stay at the hotel which is very near the highway and within 10 minutes of Duke Medical Center. The rooms are clean and comfortable. As others have mentioned the one breakfast has good variety and starts early in the morning before many restaurants are open. A few negatives which can be addressed. The pool looked dirty with a green color and many bugs floating. We would not go in. If the pool could be cleaned and a bottom line or rope provided it would be an excellent lap pool even though it us less than 15 yards long but is an even sided rectangle. Also I never got the wake up call I asked for as a backup to my phone. I used points. Not sure if the stay is worth the 25000 points as I saw some offers if under 100$ a night but I had points to spare.

I am very impressed by the courteous service of the staff, the amazing breakfast buffet, egg white omelettes, and freshly baked cinnamon rolls was a wonderful touch, and the cleanliness of the room will definitely return. I only gave the location a three star rating because it is near the highway, but the street location ambiance wasn’t ideal. Very busy traffic area. But otherwise Great value hotel!!
