The potatoes where so good! The bbq tasted like heaven. Food was fast! Staff were nice and helpful! The okra was everything I needed! 10/10 recommend!!!

This is order at the counter. All food is served in to-go boxes.
A we approached our table, a staff member was cleaning the tables. She said to our group, "Please push your chairs back to the table when you leave." I have never been asked this before at any restaurant where I have eaten. I found it odd and off-putting.
This is not real "NC" BBQ. It had no smoky flavor and was very soupy. I will say it was very lean.
I cannot recommend this place and will not return. -
My best friend and used to go to Hog Heaven 3-4 times a week, that was until she passed away in November. Amanda the owner catered the memorial service free of charge out of the kindness of her heart!! I continue to pick up orders several times a week!! Hard for me to eat in alone without my best friend! I absolutely love everything on the menu! My best friend's favorite was Monday pot roast day! My absolute favorite is Thursday baked chicken with stuffing and gravy!! Thanks to Amanda and all the staff for great food and service! Love you guys!!

Showed up with a last minute catering order for 40 people and they were super nice about it and got me taken care. Food is always amazing and some of the best people around, highly recommend anyone to try this place out. Be warned though, you will become a regular customer.

Grew up in eastern NC, just moved to Durham after living west over the last decade…. Hog Heaven does eastern NC bbq RIGHT! Got the BBQ Platter with mac and green beans and good lord YES!!!! Thank you! Better believe I’ll be back
