Great hotel, except standard breakfast is awful, probably because of breakfast staff. Cranberry juice tasted almost like water. Cinnamon buns under warmer lights were hard as stone and room temperature, Chef Pierre plastic rapped Danishes were also hard as stone, fried potatoes were burned, egg and cheese omelette was yuck, pancake station had zero free or interesting toppings, the lady taking care of things spoke zero English and obviously zero knowledge of kitchens.

I am a Holiday Inn Express fan now because of this hotel. Yea, having to pay to park is a bummer. There is not a pool onsite, guests have to use the neighboring Hampton Inn's pool. The location right off the hwy and within a short distance of Chapel Hill and plenty of gas stations and shopping centers. The room was quiet and cold (which is needed on heat index of 100 days)!!! Best of all, the breakfast was delicious!

Place was clean and quaint. Paying for parking is a pain and while paying, I wasn't even told how much parking was, which is frustrating for someone on a budget. Service was pleasant.
Rooms were clean and roomy. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. TV had plenty of channels to choose from. Without the fan blowing constantly, you'll hear absolutely everything coming from every room around you.
Breakfast was a expected. Nothing over the top, but the food was plentiful. Service was lovely. Everyone was very friendly.
Overall I would stay again, I would just avoid it if I'm looking for a quiet night of sleep.

A wonderful hotel! Family friendly, modern, clean, amazing breakfast, and super helpful staff. We stayed with our two kids and felt very welcomed. Highly recommended.

I just wanted to let everybody know that the general manager, Will, was awesome! He was very helpful and polite. He made my stay extra enjoyable.

Just stopped in for a one day just to relax before driving and police had blocked off paper of the parking lot…I really didn’t like the park and pay at a hotel because what’s the point however really clean environment and room. I didn’t enjoy the stomping and hearing the toilet flush every two seconds…the worst part is actually housekeeping…they will knock on your door and try to clean your room while you’re in the room waiting to check out at 12pm at 9:15 in the morning…I know housekeeping has a list of guest of how long someone is staying…I declined because I decided to wait in my room till 12 to avoid an early check out fee and besides I paid for parking so that was super annoying…other than that it was a basic layover stay

We spent three nights here. The room wad clean and comfortable. But the best part was the friendly, considerate staff. The desk clerk Ray was indeed a ray of sunshine and so helpful and solicitous.

Stayed for a night, had a wonderful time. Check-in was a breeze, the room was spacious and clean, and I was comfortable the whole stay. Plus, breakfast was easy and free!
The highlight was the staff; everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful, and I felt incredibly welcome. I'm not in this area often, but if I came back here this is the only place I would stay.
