Locally owned and operated hidden gem! My husband and I went out with family and friends and decided to try a new place. Gussie's exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were unique and impeccable, and the food was exceptional. This is our new favorite Downtown Raleigh restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place!! I have never seen such a huge gyro in my life!! The staff was friendly and I really enjoyed the food on display so you could easily pick out what tickled your fancy for quick ordering.

The lamb and beef gyro was very good, with soft bread, good portion of meat, tzatziki sauce was good. Lemon rice was also tasty and hot (not meaning spicy). Filled me up for several hours. The price for gyro, lemon rice, and drink was $18.81 after 5% tip...good grief!! Yes, it was not fast food and was really good, but a little pricey. Will go back again!

I ordered the Zeus Platter for lunch this past Friday and it was absolutely fantastic!!! I even had enough left over for dinner. I will definitely be back!!

The gyro is so juicy and flavorful. I have to try more menu items but I came just for this after having them at the Raleigh food festival. It is worth the drive from Greensboro for this. I wish they get more traffic so they can be open later and on the weekends too. But if you're in the area and want some good greek food definitely stop by.
