First time eating here. Good customer service. Ordered:
-chicken gyro—-fresh, not a lot of flavor, but not bad
-hummus- absolutely disgusting!!!!! I’ve tried hummus at many different Greek restaurants that tasted like hummus. I don’t know what this tasted like, but I can’t eat it and wasted $7 for a side that is not edible. Sadly, hummus was really what I was craving today.
Would I return? Yes. Just wouldn’t order the hummus.

It was good, beef/lamb gyro, FF, soda, cookie for me and baklava for my wife when I got home from work. Down side, that lunch cost $36. I was not expecting that, I didn’t realize they charged $6 for a side of French fries. Oof, it was good but not $36 for lunch good.

Passing through Durham and had a basic cheese pizza at a Greek restaurant. It might have been the best NY style pizza I have ever had. Most definitely will be back on my next visit to Duke!

Gussy's has welcoming staff and good service. I enjoyed a majority of the food I ordered; the spanakopita and dolmathes were top-notch. I liked the gyro, but it could use a little more flavor. Unfortunately, the souvlaki was lacking; it didn't have a good flavor and the chicken was not tough, so I wouldn't recommend that. Everything came out fresh and timely, and it was a good experience overall. I'll be back to try other items.

The gyro and fries here are top notch! The gyro was perfectly seasoned, with tender, juicy meat wrapped in soft, warm pita bread, and topped with fresh veggies and tangy tzatziki sauce. The fries were crispy and golden, with just the right amount of seasoning, making them the perfect side. It was the ultimate comfort food combo—so satisfying and flavorful! Food was good, but a bit pricey for order-at-the-counter. A gyro and fries cost me nearly $20. The gyro meat was tasty though.

Always such delicious food, delightful customer service in a beautiful restaurant. This Greek salad is my favorite!!! The chicken is always grilled to perfection!
