I used to love this place. It was my “go-to” for Mexican. We loved one of the servers and the food was consistently good. Few months ago however they sold and are now “Mi Cancun”. New menu, new management, and it seems like a new staff (our favorite server is gone after 3 yrs). There was no warning and even though it’s been a few months, and aside from a neon sign in one window, no signage has changed outside so it’s not obvious it’s a new place. The food is okay now, but not consistently. Tonight for example, the salsa and queso were super spicy as was a fajita taco salad. So spicy in fact that my partner could not eat it. Now, normally I’d say he was being a “wuss” but it was even a bit too spicy for me, and I like a little spice. We also had issues with dirty silverware. So, take this review for what it’s worth. If you are an “old friend” to El Rodeo, don’t expect it to be as good. If you are new, maybe it will be for you. Sadly, we will probably take it out of our “let’s go out for Mexican” date night rotation. 😞 -
My friend turned me on to this place. I didn't know what to expect, but I was definitely impressed. The foid was amazing! Especially the rice and beans ( I love rice and beans). And the dish I chose was hands down delicious 😋

Ordered salad and a dish. Very yummy. For leftover, the waiter brought a nice neat aluminum container. Love it. Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking lots.

Amazing food and great service, my friends and I always enjoy coming here! Got to celebrate Friendsgiving yesterday — will definitely be back.

Have seen this Mexican restraunt for years but never tried it. They have a good size menu to choose from. Lots of options. Offer a lunch menu as well. Both food and service were really good.
