This charming East Durham spot is your hub for sweet tooth satisfaction. Bull City Sweet Shoppe’s cakes, cake pops, cookies, pies, cotton candy, caramel apples, chocolate-dipped strawberries and gourmet popcorn make great treats for a little self-indulgence, as well as gifts for family, friends and coworkers. Most of the shoppe’s confections are made in-house; they also team up with other Black-owned local bakers, such as Royal Cheesecakes & Varieties, to add even more sugary splendor to the menu.

We had a wonderful experience working with East Durham Sweet Shoppe for our National Popcorn Day celebration! The Popcorn Bar was a huge hit with our team and added such a fun, memorable touch to the day.
The service was seamless from start to finish, communication was excellent, and everything was beautifully presented. You could truly feel the care and pride they put into their work.

The owner was so kind and welcoming. She let me try samples because it was my first time to her store. But the service was excellent. She even dipped my candy for me in white chocolate how I wanted it. That was really sweet of her. My popcorn was delicious I couldn't stop eating. I will go back again. But if you have a sweet tooth and need a good snack, I recommend this sweet stop.

Big shoutout to Stacy for helping me place an order for half a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my wife’s birthday. They were delicious! I highly recommend the east Durham sweet shop for anyone who has a higher quality sweet tooth about them. 💯

Absolutely loved the service and the product. This was my first time putting together an event that was not just friends and family and wasn’t sure what I should do as a gift after the event experience. This place did not disappoint. We ordered pretzel rods, traditional pretzels and chocolate covered Oreos. On top of the taste the box presentation was so nice. Will definitely order from here again.
