This was the most memorable hotel stay I've ever had. The staff here were so warm and welcoming, honestly it blew me away. The manager Charlie, honestly this lady is stunning, she went out of her way to accommodate me and I felt so looked after. She really turned it into a terrific holiday.
The other staff were incredibly hospitable, Al and India helped me to settle in. Before I left a young lady Cleo said something so kind to me, really her words will stay with me.
What a wonderful place to visit. -
Belindy, Darius, Chloe, Sanai and Mr. Albert. When I tell you their hospitality was unmatched OK. They made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed and everything we wanted with a smile and GOOD POSITIVE ENERGY. I felt at home... I loved everything about this hotel id HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE STAY HERE... The water with the fruit in it and don't let me go into THEM COOKIES OMG... DOUBLE TREE I LOVED MY STAY.. YOU GUYS WERE AMAZING

DoubleTrees are usually nice hotels, and this one is really well managed. It was a very bright and willing team from reception to the bar waiters to the conference people to the housekeeping supervisor to the chambermaids to the restaurant servers. It executed flawlessly.
I do wish I had had an easier time finding the button to raise the desk chair and that the air conditioning unit was quieter but the room had plenty of outlets and great Wi-Fi. -
The service was good all things considering. Breakfast options were not bad. They had the standard nutritional options (eggs, sausage, toast, fruit)
The rooms were just poorly renovated. Our room had windows that would not open. There was no air circulation or vents in the room or bathroom. There was an in unit AC. It didn't do much other than cool the room down. We had to stand with the door open so it didn't smell so musty (the carpet floors did not help)
Great people and good location, but not a place I would stay unless I absolutely had to (we were in town for a Duke graduation) -
Rooms are dated but clean. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Restaurant was super slow the one time I tried it, the one hostess/server was struggling. Good for an overnight, but unfortunately I had a week long conference.
