TODAY IS WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13TH 2025 AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT NEITHER ROBERT OR NORMA WERE WORKING TODAY.
I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS SO I ORDERED TWO HOUND DOGS WITH NO MUSTARD BECAUSE I'M ALLERGIC THEY HAVE MUSTARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ORDERED A LARGE CHEESE SPUDS THE GIRLS REPLY WAS YOU CAN'T PUT CHEESE IN THE FRYER😱😱😱😱😱 WOW DO YOU THINK SO .......NOT ONLY DID I GET CHARGED FOR AN EXTRA CUP OF CHEESE I ALSO GOT A HALF A BAG OF SMALL FRIES NOT LARGE SO I'M SITTING HERE WITH A FEW BITES OF CHEESE FRIES AND TWO HOT DOGS I CAN'T EAT Y'ALL NEED TO HIRE PEOPLE THAT CAN DO BETTER BEFORE YOU LOSE YOUR REGULAR CUSTOMERS... TELL THE GIRLS WHO ARE WORKING TODAY THANK YOU FOR ALMOST POISONING ME WITH AN ALLERGIC REACTION! -
Okay, I’m not one to leave reviews but this…this I have to talk about. I ordered my food and decided to get fries ONLY if they offered ranch dressing which one employee ensured me they did, so I ordered. Once I was served my food I asked for ranch in the bag to which they served replied “this is a hotdog stand…we don’t have ranch.” Preposterous in my opinion, and what makes it worse is that the lady who told me they had ranch wouldn’t even make eye contact with me afterward. AND THE SAUERKRAUT WAS MID! Honestly if you need the dogs that bad just go to cookout down the street, get the two hot dog tray and you’re in good hands. God bless :)

OMG! SLOW. The dogs are cooked. The chili is cooked. All it takes is assembly… and apparently a half an hour. The chain probably delivers the best hot dogs in Durham, but at a snail’s pace. One has to wonder what on Earth they are doing. Take-out and outdoor dining only…with the stench of decaying garbage and stale employee cigarettes.

I don’t usually choose hot dogs for lunch but yesterday 8/7/25 my co worker recommended we go to the dog house.i was confused but went along with it.first of all let me say service was perfect but also fast.Norma not only was nice but very funny.
I never thought placing an order would be so fun!
Any ways im not gonna ramble on but for winch and a show i would definitely recommend the dog house on latte road Durham NC.
And make sure Norma is there! -
If you like hot dogs this is the place for you. They have good hotdogs and fries. They are a little slow ,but it is definitely worth it. I like the sweet tea. I don’t know what or if the other food is like. I always just get two hot dogs with fries and a sweet tea. I like it a lot. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes hotdogs. The dog house is a great place to do.
